M.Ch Eligibility Criteria for Admission

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to have done MS from a university recognised by the Medical Council of India to be considered eligible.


Master in Audiology and Speech- Language Pathology [MASLP] Eligibility Criteria

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS who have passed BASLP/B.Sc. or any other equivalent degree from a recognised University are eligible for the MASLP programme.


Master in Occupational Therapy [MOT] Eligibility Criteria

Specializations:

  • Community Medical Sciences

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS who have a Bachelor degree in Occupational theory are eligible for the masters’ programme.


Master of Physiotherapy [MPT] Eligibility Criteria

Specializations:

  • Musculoskeletal Sciences
  • Neurosciences
  • Cardiovascular and Respiratory Sciences
  • Community Medical Sciences
  • Sports Physiotherapy

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to have a Bachelor degree in physiotherapy from a recognised University to be considered eligible for admission.

Application Process for Admission

For M.Ch. programmes:

Application form for DM and M.Ch. programmes are available on Directorate of Medical Education and Research website. Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to fill in the details required in the application form. When applicants submit the filled application form a bank challan will be generated which is to be used for filling the application fee.

Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS will get a unique password once they fill the application form which can be used for future use. After making the payment to the State Bank of India through the challan, applicants can again login by using the application number as username and unique password provided earlier.

User facts:

  • Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to upload a scan copy of photograph and signature.
  • Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS should keep a copy of application form and bank challan which shall be used in future.
  • After filling the application form, a copy of form and challan will be send to the email registered by the candidate.
  • Application form fee is INR 5000 and INR 60 as bank charges.

NOTE: Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS need not to send the application form copy or challan to the office.

Attested copies of documents to be send along with the application form:

  • 10th marks sheet of the eligible applicant.
  • 12th marks sheet of the eligible applicant.
  • Graduation marks sheet of the eligible applicant.
  • Physical fitness certificate of the eligible applicant.
  • Migration certificate of the eligible applicant.

For M.Ch. programmes:

  • Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to appear for an entrance test MH-SSET conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research. The questions asked in the entrance test are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Applicants seeking admission into MUOHS are required to provide a print out of admit card along with a valid photo ID proof at the examination centre.

For other Programmes:

  • An entrance test will be conducted for the admission of candidate to the M.Sc. programme. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance test. Those applicants seeking admission into MUOHS who are successful to make their names in the merit list will be called for an interview.
  • Those applicants seeking admission into MUOHS who score 50 or more than 50% marks in the entrance test will score position in the merit list.
