    • You will be required to complete the formalities like registering on the DTE portal against a notification for admission, getting your documents duly verified, and processing valid DTE Merit Number.

Admission Process for B.Tech

  • Admission to the various course in Engineering and Technology is carried out by two main modes, namely, through Central counselling and direct at Institute level. However, the eligibility criteria in both modes remain the same.  

  • The Central Counselling is conducted by a competent Authority like the Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Mumbai in Maharashtra State.

  • It is mandatory for all candidates desirous to seek admission to professional courses to complete the formalities of registration on the on appropriate portals, verification of Documents at any of the Facilitation Centre and possession of a merit number.
  • This is applicable for admission under both CAP as well as Institute Level Rounds.

  • The eligibility criteria mentioned above is subjected to the guideline from the respective competent authorities from time to time.

  • Reservation norms will be as per the guideline of the compete Authority /State Govt / DTE / University as applicable.

  • All types of scholarships are offered to the eligible ones as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority. 

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • If you have eligible 12th or Equivalent and satisfy the eligibility criteria as below, then you can seek admission to following courses.
  • Candidate should have passed the 12th examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education OR its equivalent examination AND secured minimum 50% marks.

  • Minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped, in the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory and any one of optional subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology.

  • Technical Vocational Subject added together AND Candidate should have a valid MHT-CET OR JEE Score.

  • Students will be selected for admission based on marks obtained at MHT-CET 2017. And if the seats remain vacant, then merit based on marks obtained at JEE Mains Paper.

  • Diploma/ ITI holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics AND should have a valid MHT-CET OR JEE Score.

  • ITI /Diploma holders who have passed the Diploma course in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the AICTE approved Polytechnics are also eligible for Direct Second Year in an appropriate respective branch in case of vacancies arising after Direct Second Year Admissions as per the guidelines of the Competent Authority.

If you are a Diploma holder and satisfy the eligibility criteria as below, then you can seek admission to the following course:

Direct Second (Lateral entry) year of B.Tech:

  • You should have passed three years Diploma examination in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology from an AICET approved institutions, with at least 50% marks. 

 

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • Candidate should have passed and obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

  • Applicants those belong to OBC/SC/ST/PWD category should have 45% marks in any full-time Bachelor's degree of minimum of three Years.

  • Students must have completed their 10+2  with Mathematics, Physics and chemistry.

 

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree or Equivalent in the relevant field of Engineering/Technology, specified by the concerned University for admission to a particular Postgraduate course from an AICET approved institutions, with at least 50% marks and should have obtained a score in GATE.

Maharashtra Institute Of Technology BTech institute situated in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. MIT, Aurangabad consistent of following courses, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastic And Polymer Engineering, E&TC Engineering & Etc. See more on www.BTech.mit.asia Basically my admission is done under DSY quota as I completed my diploma and then attended the college. The typical percentage for DSY is In between 82-80 (Civil Engineering) For Open category. The admission procedure was conducted by DTE board which was almost online except documents verification.

The student has to pass the 12th exam and should be a Science student. The applicant should also pass the medical exam which includes eye test, hearing test, ECG, blood test. The applicant has to pass the MANET entrance exam held in the month of may. The applicant has to score minimum 50percent in English and 60 percent in physics chemistry maths.

Admission Procedure:

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education OR its equivalent examination AND secured minimum 50% marks (minimum 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Physically Handicapped, belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics and Mathematics as compulsory and any one of optional subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, or Technical Vocational Subject added together AND Candidate should have a valid MHT-CET OR JEE Score.
  • Admissions will be affected based on score or marks obtained at MHT-CET 2016. And if the seats remain vacant, then merit based on score or marks obtained at JEE Mains Paper – I 2016.
  • It is mandatory for all candidates desirous to seek admission to professional courses (B.E. / B.Tech. / ME, M.Tech., MCA, MBA, etc) to complete the formalities of registrations on the DTE website and should possess a merit number.
