Application forms for admission to all the UG/PG courses are available both Online and Offline and the other states candidates can apply for BE/ B.Tech course online through TNEA Website.
The candidates can apply online with the registered Username and Password and then fill the application form with the required details for Madras Institute of Technology admission 2019.
Then the necessary documents should be attached and the application form should be submitted.
The application is available offline at the Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai Campus candidate can pay the application fees and collect the form along with the prospectus.

The Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai admissions 2019 will be based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) and also based on marks obtained in the previous qualifying examination and physical fitness.

The candidate seeking admission in BE/ B.Tech should have passed (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with minimum 50% marks for general and 45% marks for OBC and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates for Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai admission 2019.
A candidate seeking admissions to the part-time mode of study shall have his/her permanent place of work within a distance of 90km from the study campus of the institution.
The candidate who applies should be of age lesser than 21 years on first of July of the year of application. For candidates from SC/ST, the age limit is relaxable by three years.
The candidate seeking admission from any State other than Tamil Nadu State should produce the Native Certificate at the time of admission.

The criteria for admission for my course is to pass the +2 examination. The engineering cutoffs are considered for counseling. Based on the cut off marks the rank list is released. According to communities, the cut off marks will vary for different courses.
Admission procedure is like you can apply through the counseling. If you have scored good, Then cutoff marks are 97% and if you have scored more than that then definitely get MIT campus.
To be eligible for Madras Institute of Technology, we must score good marks in Higher secondary public exam. The cut off must above 197.
Should pass B.E., (Aero, Mech, Civil) stream and Anna university entrance exam TANCET score will be considered for admissions.
For M.Tech we should clear TANCET/GATE exam. I had taken TANCET exam to enter MIT. I scored 30 marks in TANCET.
