The University releases the admission notification through the university website for the various courses during the time of admission every year.
The interested candidates can apply for the courses online through the online process and they have to fill the details and upload the passport size photos and a signature according to the instructions as stated in the brochure in the official website of the Kumaun University, Nainital.

Eligibility criteria is 12th pass and Agriculture exam but in this, the admission is through merit basis. The cutoff is different for different categories i.e for general it's about 65% and for SC and ST it's 50%.
One should complete graduation then only he/she will appear for M.Sc. There is no entrance exam. 70 percentage in B.Sc.
