KCLAS is affiliated college of Bharathiar University, a state university in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, South India. Named after Tamil poet Subramania Bharathiar, the university was established in February 1982 under the provision of Bharathiar University Act, 1981 (Act 1 of 1982) and was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 1985. To get admission into the three year of under graduate degree course, the candidate the must have passed his/her Higher senior secondary examination (10+2) with specific combination of the subjects from a recognized education board. Some of the eligibility criteria is as follows,

•       The candidates can apply online or directly go to the admission office in the college. 
•       students will be given only Provisional Admission until all the Educational Certificates are approved by Bharathiar University, as per norms.
•       Diploma students can apply either for B. A English Literature/ B.Sc. Visual Communication.
•       Provisional Admission will be rejected if any student fails in Class XII during the first attempt.
•       Student Selection/ Rejection – decision made by the Admission Core Committee will be the final.
•       The application form fee is Non- Refundable.
•       Email ID submitted at the time od registration will be used for all correspondences until enrolment is completed. Change in Email ID will not be permitted under any circumstances.
•       All the Applicants are strongly advised by the institution to use KCLAS query management system [KCLAS-QMS], rather than emailing, to get a quick response.
•       For Under graduation course you are required to submit the following documents,

1.       10th ,11th & 12th Mark Statement
2.       12th Migration Certificate
3.       Transfer Certificate
4.       Community Certificate
5.       Aadhaar Card Copy

Note: All these documents are required at the time of admission. Also, the equivalency certificate is required if you are having passed your Higher senior Secondary from IB, ISC or NIOS.

•         For post-graduation course you are required to submit the following documents,

1.       12th Mark Statement
2.       UG – Consolidated, Provisional/ Degree Certificate
3.       Transfer Certificate
4.       Community Certificate
5.       Aadhaar Card Copy

Note: You also have to submit the eligibility certificate and the migration certificate, if applicable.
