KLN College of Engineering is an Autonomous Institution approved  by AICTE and Affiliated to Anna University situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Started in 1994, Founded  by Thiru K.L.N. Krishnan. The management works with the mission to make students professional in the field of engineering, technology and management by emphasizing Ethical values through quality Education System. KLNCE has received “SIIP Award 2015” from the society for Educational and Entrepreneurship Development. The university offers 7UG and 7PG programmes in engineering and technology. Training and Placements Cell plays a major role in the institute. College provides students with multiple  activities throughout the year in order to succeed in campus recruitment drive. These trainings have helped not only engineering but also non-engineering students get placed in good numbers in Multinational companies.

KLN offers UG and PG in the field of engineering and technology. KLNCE B.Tech Admission 2020

The B.Tech courses are being designed to deliver knowledge and technical skills as well as to develop the students analytical, management, professional and academic skills and abilities. Under the B.Tech admission, KLNCE offers various specializations in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Information Technology, Electronics and instrumentation and Automobile.

KLNCE B.Tech Eligibility

Admission to the B.Tech programmes are based on :

  • 10+2 with PCM as compulsory subjects from a recognized board and 
  • Selection Criteria based on TNEA counselling

 Note:Eligibility criteria for admission into 2nd year of B.E. through lateral entry is as follows:

  • A pass in Diploma examination in any one of the courses like Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automobile Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Pass in B.S
  • c. with Mathematics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

KLN College M.E. Admission 2020

The college offers M.E in 5 specializations. Candidates applying for the M.E. course should have completed their Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech/ B.E. from a recognized board. Candidates who satisfy minimum eligibility criteria are required to appear in TANCET. Admission into the M.E. courses will be granted during the TANCET counseling process based on the candidates’ performance in the entrance exam. TANCET  is a state level entrance exam held in Tamil Nadu.

KLNCE M.E Eligibility

Admission to the B.Tech programmes are based on :

  • B.E/ B.Tech with 50% marks (45% for reserved category) from a recognized and
  • Selection Criteria is based on Performance in TANCET

  • Candidates with B.E./ B.Tech. Degrees obtained through Distance mode/ weekend courses are not eligible.
  • Candidates with MCA./ M.Sc. Degree obtained through weekend courses are not eligible.

There are 2 ways of getting admission in this college one is via counseling which is conducted by Anna University or through management quota. In my college cut off marks are only for counseling students and it varies according to course provided.
