The applicants have to qualify the prestigious NEET Entrance Exam in accordance with the qualification marks for that year for KGMU University, Lucknow admission.

State Combined Pre Medical Test (CPMT) conducted by Director Medical Education & Training, UP for 85% of the seats and the All India Medical Entrance Examination (CBSE Examination) conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for the remaining 15% seats.  Reservation of seats for scheduled castes/tribes and Other Backward Classes are made according to state government guidelines.

MD/MS

Candidates are eligible for entrance to these courses after completing Internship. The number of seats in each course is decided from time to time. Eligibility and Selection Procedure for M.B.B.S in King George's Medical University, KGMU, Lucknow

Educational Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for admission are:

a) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years) (or);

b) Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) (or):

c) An equivalent examination with 12 years schooling from a recognized board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology) and English

d) Candidates from general and OBC category must have secured an aggregate of at least 50% marks and at least 40% of marks in the case of SC/ST category in the qualifying exam

Age Limit: Must be minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2015

Selection Process

Admission to BPT course in the University will be made on the basis of entrance examination scheduled to be held on 14th February 2016 at Lucknow

The selection of the candidates will be strictly based on the merit of the entrance exam.
