The application form to all the courses offered by Kakatiya University will be available in the official website of the University. The interested applicants are required to follow the below given steps to fill it for various courses:
UG Application Process:
- Visit the official web portal of the University and navigate to admission tab.
- Fill the admission form with valid details.
- Make the payment of the application fee using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
MBA and MCA Application Process:
- Visit the official website of Kakatiya university and click on TSICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) tab on the left side of the Home page.
- Make a payment of INR 650/- (INR 450/- for SC/ST towards cost using credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Click on ‘Fill Application Form’ and complete the form with valid details.
- On submission, an option to print application form gets displayed. The candidate must print the form.
LLB and LLM Application Process:
- Visit the official web portal of the University and select TS LAWCET or PGLCET ( Telangana State Law and PG Law Common Entrance Test) on the left side of the home page.
- Make the payment of the required amount either by cash in TS Online or Ap Online centre or through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Click on ‘Fill Application Form’ and complete the form with valid details.
- Print the completely filled application form.
PG Application Process:
- Visit the official website of the Kakatiya University and navigate to CPGET ( Common Post Graduate Entrance Test) 2024 tab.
- Pay the registration fees of INR 800/- for OC/ BC candidates and INR 600/- for SC/ ST/ PH candidates per subject. INR 400/- for all the categories is the additional subject fees.
- Payment can be made either by cash in TS Online or Ap Online centre or through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Click on ‘Fill Application Form’ , complete the form with valid details and print the filled form.
Kakatiya University Admission Fees
Depending on the duration and nature of the programme Kakatiya University fee structure is different for the various courses offered.
- INR 6520/- is the total tuition fees for MBA programme of 2 years duration.
- B.Ed and M.Ed academic fees is INR 3520/- annually.
- The annual tuition fees for M.Sc in Mathematics, MA and M.Com (General and Financial Accounting) is INR 1510/-.
Entrance Examinations Accepted by Kakatiya University
The selection to most of the Post Graduation courses is based on the performance in the Entrance Examinations conducted by the University.
Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET)
- Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) is conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into MBA and MCA course. The duration of the test is 150 minutes with 200 questions divided into three sections, each question carrying a mark.
- Section A: Analytical Ability - Data Sufficiency and Problem Solving (75 questions).
- Section B: Mathematical Ability - Arithmetical Ability, Algebraical and Geometrical Ability and Statistical Ability (75 questions).
- Section C: Communication Ability - Vocabulary, Business and Computer Terminology, Functional Grammar and Reading Comprehension (50 questions).
Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET)
- Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test ( TS LAWCET) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into LLB. It is 90 minutes test with 120 questions bearing a mark each.
- Part A - General Knowledge and Mental Ability (30 questions).
- Part B - Current Affairs (30 questions).
- Part C - Aptitude for the Study of Law (60 questions).
Telangana State Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (TS PGLCET)
- Telangana State PG Law Common Entrance Test ( TS LAWCET) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission into LLM. It is 90 minutes test with 120 questions bearing a mark each.
- Part A: Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law (40 questions each).
- Part B: Public International Law, Mercantile Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts and IPR and Other Laws (80 questions)
Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET)
- A State level Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) is conducted conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad for admission into various PG programmes.

Kakatiya University provides Post Graduation courses in MA, M.Com, MSW, MHRM, MTM, MCA, MBA, LLB, LLM, M.Ed and M.P.Ed. All the Masters programme lasts for an academic duration of 2 years comprising of four semesters except LLB which is for a duration of 3 years and 5 years accordingly.
Kakatiya University PG Eligibility
To seek admission to any of the Masters programme the applicant must complete his/ her Graduation in the relevant field from a recognized University. The selection procedure to most of the PG courses depends on the score secured by the candidate in CPGET conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad. LLB and LLM applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their TS LAWCET and PGLCET score respectively. TS ICET score decides the admission to MBA and MCA programme.
