Kakatiya Medical College was inaugurated by the honourable Sri.P. Karmarkar, Minister of Health, Government of India, on 23 July 1959. 157 acres of land was acquired for the medical college in Warangal. Kakatiya Medical College has been recognised by the Medical Council of India. The medical college has affiliated University of Health Science, now NTR University of Science, Vijayawada.

Kakatiya Medical College Admissions 2020

Kakatiya Medical College admission for MBBS course is based on the basis of rank in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or Intermediate Pass in Bi.P.C: NEET for medicals.P.G.NEET rank is required for PG and PG diploma courses.

KMC intake 250 medical seats per year for MBBS course. Kakatiya Medical College provides various range of clinical, non clinical and surgical programmes at the undergraduate and Postgraduate level. KMC offers PG courses in all the departments.

• The Undergraduate course is MBBS for a maximum of 5 years.

The duration of the MBBS course is 4 years and 6 months. Rank in NEET exam is required for the admission criteria. KMC provides 250 medical seats for MBBS per year.

Kakatiya Medical College MD & MS Admissions 2020

KMC provides Clinical and Non Clinical programmes in Doctorate of Medicine (MD) and surgical based courses in Master of Surgery and PG diploma courses. The duration of PG courses is the term of 3 years and the PG diploma courses is the term of 2 years. All the candidates applying for PG courses should have completed the MBBS course.
