 The Online application form and brochure can be downloaded from the institute’s website.

  • The candidate should fill the form with valid details along with passport size photo on the form.
  • The form must be submitted at the admission office before the deadline along with the Demand Draft of Rs 1500 (if not paying the application fee in cash).
  • The fee must be paid in cash or by demand draft in favour of “Director, JBIMS” payable at Mumbai.

DTE CAP Application Fee

  • No Fee Candidates: The Candidates who have registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 are not required to pay any fees for registration.
  • Fee-Paying Candidates: Other candidates who have obtained a score which is valid for admission in the academic year 2019-20 in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA and have not registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 are required to pay CAP Registration fees
  • Mode of CAP Fee Payment: CAP 2019 registration fee must be paid only by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking through Online mode
  • Fee Not Refundable: DTE CAP Fees once paid is non-refundable

Stages of DTE CAP 2019: From Application to Selection 

  • Step1: Candidate Registration will start on June 30, 2019
  • Step2: Online Application Form must be filled by Candidate for participation in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2019
  • Step3: Confirmation of Online Application Form and Document Verification and counselling along with brief GD, PI at Facilitation Centre (FC) by the Candidate in person
  • Step4: Provisional merit lists, Submission of grievances, if any, and Final Merit Lists must be submitted. 
  • Step5: Display of available Categorywise Seats (Seat Matrix) for CAP Rounds I, II and III.
  • Step6: Filling up and Confirmation of Online Option Form having preferences of Courses and Institutions before CAP Round I. Once the option form is confirmed shall be considered for allotment in CAP Round I, II, and III.
  • Step7: The Provisional Allotment of CAP Round I, II, and III indicating allotted institute and Course must be displayed This allotment of seats is based on the marks scored in MAH CET; CAT; XAT; GMAT, MAT; CMAT; ATMA exams, Academics & other parameters leading to merit score in CAP round. 
  • Step8: The seat must be reported or accepted as per the allotment of the CAP Round I, II, and III by the Candidate at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) 
  • Step9: DTE has set up 243 FCs in different MBA colleges of Maharashtra to appear for DTE CAP 2019 for admission to MBA/MMS 2019-21
  • Step10:  The seat must be surrendered to participate in the next CAP round to get a better MBA college.

  •  How can I get into JBIMS, Mumbai?
    - You can apply through the following tests (CAT, CET, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT). Cut off is 99.9
  • What is the admission process in JBIMS for 2019 batch?
    - You need to take up CAT/CMAT and MH-CET for JBIMS and should have a minimum of 99.98 percentile in CAT/CMAT or MH-CET. Must have a good profile. You should have 75%tile in all section.
  • Can I know the fee structure for MBA at JBIMS?
    -  For JBIMS, the fee is 3 LPA for general category and 1 LPA for all the other reserved categories. So for 2 years, full MMS Program will cost around 6 lakh.

Jamnalal College offers a 2 year full time course in Masters of Management Studies.

Eligibility

  • Candidate must have passed 10th with atleast 65% aggregate marks and 12th with atleast 60% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only
  • Final year students can also apply on provisional basis

Admission Process

  • Admissions are on the basis of MH-CET/CAT followed by group discussion, personal interview, written ability test
  • For all NRI, Foreign national and PIO applicants, GMAT is a mandatory exam
  • For foreign nationals, residing outside India, interviews will be conducted over Skype
  • A candidate will be admitted based on the combined scores of this personal assessment along with their past academic and extra-curricular achievement
  • Other criterion are group activity score, written ability test score followed by marks at HSC and SSC or equivalent
