Candidates can apply online for the IMU-CET for their course by visiting the official website.
Candidate will have to fill up an application form and upload copies of the required documents.
Once the documents are uploaded the registration fee payment will have to be made online.
Print out the filled-in application for further reference.
Once the dates for the test are announced the candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
Once the test is conducted and the results are announced an online counselling process will be conducted by IMU.
Once the seat is assigned the candidate must report to the Institute for the finalization of their enrollment into the Institution.
Candidates will be deemed eligible only if they have a valid score in the IMU-CET for the respective course.
Candidates applying to International Maritime Institute [IMI] must have passed the [10+2] qualifying examination from a recognized board/ institution.
The aspirant must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM.
Candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks scored in English at Grade XII or Grade X.
The age limit for an eligible candidate is 25 years at the time of commencement of course.
Candidates must be medically fit with a 6/6 eyesight with or without aids (Max. power permitted ±2.5).
Candidate must not be colourblind.
Candidate must have passed the [10+2] qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized Institution/ Board.
Candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in PCM or 60% in B.Sc qualifying examination (55% for reserved categories).
Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in the English subject in Grade X or Grade XII.

The candidate must be medically fit with the eyesight of 6/6, with or without external aids.
Candidate must not have colour blindness.
The eligibility criteria for the admission is a minimum of 60% marks in 12th (10+2) with PCM as main subjects.
IMU CET (Indian Maritime University Eligibility Test) is the main entrance exam. The cut-off mark is around 100 to 110.
