The admission procedure for the following programme is based on CAT 2018 and GMAT scores.
The candidate has to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by Indian Institute of Management at different centers all over the country to enroll for the programme.
Test scores of the candidate who have appeared for Common Admission Test (CAT) as well as applied to IMI for the PGDM program will be obtained by IMI from IIM.
Selection process or conducting the program is not done by IIM.
Based on the GMAT scores, foreign candidates, PIO, NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible.
Indian candidates who appeared for GMAT are also eligible for the programme.
Candidates must provide a self-attested copy of GMAT score sheet to the Admission Officer for verification at the time of personal interview.
Candidates who haven't appeared for GMAT or are yet to appear for GMAT must enter '0' in the GMAT score field and should mail their scorecard immediately after the test.
The application will be rejected if the candidate fails to submit the GMAT scores without the above document.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the information provided in the application form, CAT or GMAT scores, academic performance in 10th, 12th, graduation, educational background and work experience( if any).
The final stage of the selection process will be conducted only for shortlisted candidates.
Candidates failing to meet the eligibility criteria will not be shortlisted.

The overall objective of the selection process will be to identify the candidate's potential for a managerial career.
Company Sponsored candidates:
Company sponsored candidates are eligible for the programme and will have to go through the above-mentioned selection process.
These candidates must submit a letter from the sponsoring organization and submit during the personal interview.
All the fees and the dues must be paid time to time during the complete duration of the programme.
Sponsored candidates are not eligible to receive any placement assistance from the institute's placement cell.
A separate fee structure will be provided for such candidates.
Shortlisted applicants will be called for the personal interview to asses their suitability for the programme.
The selection process will be held in Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune and Varanasi.
First and second preference of the interview center must be mentioned in the application form.
Candidate will be informed about the change if the preferred center is not allotted.
Admission will be offered based on the composite score attained after the assessment during the various stages of the selection process.
The result will be announced through an Admission Portal and will be notified on the IMI, Delhi Website.
Applicants must check the updates on the website at regular intervals.
The offer letter will be sent to the candidate through email at the email address mentioned in application form.
Complete postal address and active email ID must be provided by the applicant for receiving information.
The candidate who has been offered the admission must pay the first installment of the fee within one week of the offer.
If the candidate fails to pay the fee, the offer will lapse and admission will be offered to the next candidate without any intimation.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy:
If an applicant withdraws before starting the programme, the admission will be provided to the candidate in the waiting list.
Candidate will be refunded the entire fee after deducting a processing fee of Rs 1000/-.
In case the student leaves the course after commencement and the seat remains vacant, only refundable components of the fee will be returned to the candidate.

Candidates can apply through XAT score for the last two years.

PSU or Corporate House sponsored candidates will be shortlisted based on the information provided in the application form and the recommendation of the sponsoring organization.
Shortlisting will be base on the information provided in the application form, CAT score, GMAT score, XAT score or IMI test score, educational background, marks in 10th, 12th, graduation & work experience.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interview.
Skype interview will be conducted for foreign students.
Experience certificate, certified copy of GMAT / CAT / XAT scorecard and Sponsorship letter must be submitted at the time of interview if needed.
The selection process will take place in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Candidate should mention the first and second preference of interview cities in the application form.
Candidate will be informed about the change if his or her preferred city is not allotted.
Admission will be offered to the candidate based on the assessment made during the selection process.
The sponsoring authority will be notified about the admission in case of sponsored candidates. The organization must confirm the names of the candidates who will be joining the program in written within two weeks after the announcement of result.
Offer letters will be mailed as well as dispatched to the mailing address provided in the application form.
Candidates must pay the first installment of the fee within two weeks of the date of issue of the offer.
Admission will be cancelled and will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list if the candidate fails to pay the first installment of the fee.
Self-sponsored candidates will be provided placement assistance by the IMI's Placement Cell.
Candidates sponsored by their organization will not be receiving any placement assistance.
