Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc:
- Candidates must have a 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics.
- The candidate may have a B.Stat degree from the Indian Statistical Institute.
- The candidate may have an Engineering degree.(Candidates should have knowledge of Economics and Mathematics at the B.A./B.Sc. pass level).

Application Process for M.Sc:
- The candidates must log into the official website of the college.
- Then must go to http://www.isid.ac.in/~dean/Forms/Registration_Form.pdf.
- The application form appears on the screen.
- The candidate must download the application form and fill it as directed.
- The candidates must fill in their personal and educational details.
- The candidates must sign the declaration.
- The candidate must then submit the form.

Step 1: Personal and educational details of the candidate.
- The candidate must fill in name, gender and other such details.
- The candidate must fill in the choice of branch applied.
- The candidate must provide valid email id and address.
- The candidate must fill in the previous educational details such as marks obtained in Graduation.
Step 2: Educational preferences of the candidate:
- The candidate must fill in their choice of discipline.
- The candidate must fill in their preferences of PhD.
- The candidate must also give a brief write up as directed.
- The candidate must check the documents that have to be submitted.
- The candidate must then sign the declaration and submit the form.
Admission Process at Indian Statistical Institute, [ISI] Delhi
Admission Process for M.Sc:
- Selection of students is based on past academic record, and performance in entrance tests (in Economics and Mathematics) and in an interview.
- Information regarding the admission process is advertised in major Indian newspapers and on the official website in February of each year.
- The entrance tests are held in early May, and interviews are held in early July.
- Detailed information about this is mailed to candidates who apply for the program.
- A new session starts in late July.
- Once the candidate is selected, he/she can pay the admission fee and enroll self.
