Eligibility Criteria for MBA

  • Should have a valid score in the Common Admissions Test (CAT) 2018 conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management

  • Should be a Graduate (or professional qualification equivalent to that of a University degree recognized by the UGC) in any discipline with first class or having 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 (55% marks or CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST/PD) in their degree from a recognized University

  • Final year students (of the above-mentioned programme) are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, on the condition that they meet all the requirements for the qualifying degree before the start of the program and will produce a provisional certificate of completion of the program latest by September

  • IIT Graduates who have obtained a CGPA of 8 and above on 10 point scale are exempted from CAT score.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech + M.Tech

The candidate to join B.Tech+M.Tech course (Computer Science & Engineering) must secure 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Executive MBA

  • Candidate must be done / complete Bachelor's degree in any recognized university with minimum 50% marks aggregate.

  • Candidate should have valid marks with one year experience from reputed industrial / R&D, Public Sector, Government, Semi-Government and reputed private sector organization or Entrepreneur / Self-Employed person having registered firms with annual turnover /sales of INR 100 lakhs.

The candidate must be qualified with the following criteria to join M.Sc in Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad

  • 55% in B.Sc.
