The application fee for the course is Rs. 1000 for the Unreserved/ OBC/ Transgender candidates and for the SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates it is Rs. 500.
Application is online the fees is Rs.2500/- for GE/OBC and Rs.1250/-.
There is an exception for women candidates in application fees.

The balance of admission fee is to be paid.
Students should be present at Kalidas Auditorium on the mentioned date and time for welcome address and introduction lecture.
After that students will be directed to there designated rooms at Vikramshila Complex for academic verification.
The updated signed student profile, photocopies of all other required documents are to be presented.
If not updated need to be updated and done as above.
After verification, the students will be assigned a roll number as his/her login id with the same password.
After verification is done, the student should login to ERP with his/her assigned roll-number to complete the process of subject Registration in IIT Kharagpur
The CAT score is considered for the admission of the course at Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Kharagpur which is followed by Writing Ability Test(WAT) and Personal Interview(PI).
Each discipline which is chosen by the candidate has a Departmental Entrance Test with 40% weightage followed by evaluation of Academic Record with 40% weightage and also includes an Interview for the admission at IIT Kharagpur.

IIT Kharagpur admissions, candidates should have a first class in their Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine or equivalent, Masters in Science/ Pharmacy or equivalent OR MBA degree.
Students should have secured CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks for GE/OBC and 6.0 CGPA and 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD.
