Application Form For MBA (Full Time):

  • Applicants seeking admission to MBA programs at IIM Lucknow should apply through the official CAT website.

  • The registration fee for General merit and OBC candidates is INR 1700 and for candidates belonging to SC/ST/ OBC is INR 850.

  • For admissions in IIM Lucknow, the applicants have to select the program offered by the Institute as per their preference. Along with the preference for the program, candidates also have to enter their choice of city for the interview as well.

Application Form For FPM:

  • Candidates have to read the instructions and Programme details provided online on the Official website before filling this application form.

  • Candidates have to fill the Application Form in CAPITAL letters only

  • An applicant is eligible to submit applications to a maximum of two areas. In such cases, candidates who choose to apply to two areas are required to submit separate application forms with all supporting documents, to be sent together

  • Candidates have to enclose copies of 10th, 12th, and graduation, post-graduation mark sheets along with each set of the form. Also, enclose a copy of the scorecard of CAT/GATE/GMAT/GRE & JRF. If shortlisted, all certificates should be produced at the time of interview in originals.

  • The form should be complete in all respects and strike out whichever portion is not applicable

  • Candidates have to enclose a Demand Draft of INR 1000/- (INR 500/- for SC/ST Candidates) with the Application Form drawn in favor of INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT LUCKNOW payable at Lucknow. This covers the application fee for applying in two areas.

Application Process for Executive MBA

  • Candidates have to complete the Application Form correctly and fill section "A" in CAPITAL letters only.

  • In all matters relating to the admissions process, the decision of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is final and binding on the applicant.

  • Correspondence will not be entertained from the applicant regarding their non-selection.

  • Candidates have to upload the following documents along with the application form:

    • A copy of the  GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ GATE scorecard

    • Experience certificates(s) or salary slip from the previous/current employer(s) (specific dates of joining and leaving the organization(s) need to be mentioned).

    Note: Online submission of the Application Form will not be accepted if the hard copy of the Application Form is submitted.

Application Process for Other Courses.

  • The candidate has to go through the official website to fill the form.

  • Official front end page of the college will open.

  • Candidates have to register to the college by giving the required information in the registration form.

  • Candidates have to enter all the required personal and educational information in the application form and submit the form.

Stage 1: Candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

Written Ability Test (WAT):

During the Personal Interview process, students have to write a short note on a topic given by IIM Bangalore authorities. The topic will be chosen from the current political, economic & business affairs. Apart from sports, areas of creative thinking will also be covered. The time allotted for writing the short note will be around 30 minutes.

Personal Interview:

During Personal Interview, students academic skills, work quality & experience are evaluated. The short note will be evaluated separately by the Institute. Marks of interview & written test will be used to identify the collective marks, which will act as a preselection parameter for the second phase of selection.

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the CAT score, previous academic performance, and other criteria as mentioned below.

For PGP-SM, minimum work experience of 24 months is an additional Eligibility Criteria

Stage 2: Candidates final score for selection in PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM program will be calculated on the basis of the assigned weights.

Admission Process For FPM:

  • Applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria stated above are required to take Common Admission Test (CAT 2018)held by IIMs.

  • Alternatively, candidates who have a valid GATE 2019GREGMAT or JRF (UGC/CSIR/ ICAR 2019 score/certificate can also apply in the relevant area of specialization. (Scores of any of these examinations including CAT 2018 took during the last two years will be considered valid).

  • Applicants holding a one/two/three year full-time classroom-based PGDM from any of the IIM/WMP of IIM Lucknow with a minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale and a corresponding letter grade `B’ would be exempted from taking one of the exams listed above, and can apply directly through the prescribed Application Form.

  • Such exempted candidates are also eligible to get a waiver of the I year coursework and can directly join the II year of the Programme.

  • The applicants short-listed on the basis of their academic record and performance in the competitive examinations mentioned above will be called to Lucknow for a personal interview for final selection.

Admission to the program is open to overseas applicants including NRIs and foreign nationals. Their admission will be based on scores obtained in GMAT/ GRE

Admission Process for Executive MBA

  • Shortlisted candidates are required to present all original documents at the time of the Personal Interview.

  • In all matters relating to the admissions process, the decision of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow is final and binding on the applicant.

MBA Full Time

  • The applicant seeking admission should have completed Bachelor’s degree program in any stream from a recognized University or should have an equivalent qualification which is recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India are eligible for Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow admissions 2019.

  • The applicants belonging to General merit and NC-OBC must have to have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks required in Bachelor’s degree for appearing in CAT 2018 

  • Applicants seeking admission belonging to the reserved categories must have to have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the Bachelor program.

  • Candidates in the final year of the program can also apply. In such cases, candidates have to submit a certificate issued by the College/Institution stating that the applicant seeking admission has successfully completed the course.

Eligibility Criteria for FPM:

  • Applicants seeking admission must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

For specialization in Areas other than Agri-Business Management:

  • Candidates must have Masters’ Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 55%aggregate marks

                                                                                            OR

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average

                                                                                            OR

  • Any professional qualifications such as CA, ICW & CS with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.

For specialization in Agri-Business Management:

  • Candidates must have Masters’ degree or its equivalent in Agribusiness Management or any discipline of Agricultural and Allied Sciences with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks

  • Candidates must have Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural / Food / Biotechnology and Allied Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade point average

  • In addition, all the applicants must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level. Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given priority in the selection process.

  • Applicants appearing for the final year examination may also apply. However, their admission to the program will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree.

  • Applicants must not be more than 55 years of age. Further, candidates over 55 years would not be provided financial support from the Institute.

Eligibility Criteria for Executive MBA

  • Candidates must have Bachelor's degree in any discipline or an equivalent academic qualification (i.e., 10+2+3) in any discipline recognized by a) the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), b) UGC, or c) Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or, a CGPA of 5.50 on a 10-point scale is required.

  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories must have a minimum of 45% aggregate marks or, a CGPA of 5.00 on a 10-point scale.

  • Candidates willing for admission to the college should a score in any of the following tests.

  • WMP Entrance Exam.

  • GMAT scorecard.

  • GATE scorecard.

  • CAT scorecard.

  • XAT scorecard.

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time post-qualification (i.e., after graduation) professional work experience.

the eligibility criteria are, you have to get 60 percent marks in your graduation or 12th, then you have to give entrance exam and if you are clearing that you can get the admission. The typical cutoff for my course was 98 marks.
