• For B.Com General, the candidates who have completed a 2-year Pre-University course in Karnataka or its equivalent with Business Studies and Accountancy as two major subjects of study are eligible.
• For B.Com ACCA, the aspirants should have completed 10+2 from the Pre University Board or any equivalent institution recognized nationally. 
• They should have obtained at least 50% marks in their 12th examinations.
• For a BBA in any specialization, the candidate should have cleared their 12th board examinations in any stream.
• For BCA, the aspirants should have cleared their 12th boards with a  minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
• For B.Sc, the aspirants should have cleared the (10+2) examination with minimum passing marks.

• For M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology specializations, the aspirant should be a B.Sc graduate with a minimum aggregate score of 50% marks.
• Aspirants with B.Sc Honours in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology/Biology with 50% aggregate marks for all the optional subjects are also eligible.
• Graduates from the Agricultural Sciences, Dairy Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Pharmacy, Engineering (Biotechnology), Medicine / Dental, Agricultural Engineering, and Clinical Lab Techniques fields with at least 50% aggregate scores are eligible to apply.
• For M.Sc Biochemistry/Organic Chemistry, the aspirants securing 40% aggregate marks and scoring at least 50% marks in Chemistry/Biochemistry at the graduate level are eligible to apply.
• For M.Sc Applied Genetics, all the B.Sc graduates with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply.
• For M.Sc Data Science, any BCA graduate with a minimum of 50% marks is eligible.
• Apart from this, the aspirants who have secured at least 50% marks in any UG degree in Science are also eligible to apply.
• For M.Com in any specialization, the candidates who have cleared Bachelors or Masters Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Management/Economics with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply.
