There is a common entrance test IPU CET for all the colleges under IP university which the student aiming to get an admission in one of the colleges shall give. The eligibility criteria include a student from a science background with a percentile of 85% in PCM and the must give the common entrance test. For admissions, the above-mentioned criteria and minority quota and cutoff are taken under consideration. Cutoff varies every year depending on different criteria.

  • The eligibility criteria for getting admission in Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is passing the 12th and clearing the IPUCET exam.
  • The entrance exam which I took was IPUCET for undergraduate courses.
  • The cut-offs are quite high, a student should have a rank between 10000 to 12000 rank for general category.

So, it provides Sikh quota at the time of admission, Sikh students with a Sikh minority certificate issued from Rakab Ganj Gurudwara, Delhi can get admission even having a much larger number. Around 75% admission is for Sikh students and all have to apply by giving IPU CET, the common examination conducted by IPU.
