  • Offline Mode:
    • Visit the official website of GGU and download the application form, OR,

    • Obtain the application from the admission counter of the university on payment of INR 500 (INR 300 for SC/ST/ PWD) through cash or DD.

    • Fill the application form and send it to the given address by Registered or speed post along with required documents and fee receipt or DD:

Applicants require to have a minimum of 50% aggregate at Graduation or Post Graduation from any recognized university/ institution.

The requirements for this programme is based as per NCTE norms (Graduation).

Students need to score 50% in 10 + 2 with PCM/ PCB from any recognized Board or equivalent.

  • Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is a great central university in Mid-India zone. There is an entrance test in this university named VET(Vishwa Vidyalaya entrance test ) for UG -PG admission and VRET for Ph.D. admission.
  • Generally cut off marks for UG admission is around 50 out of 100 marks and 70 marks out of 100 for PG admission.
  • This university has a great green campus and wonderful natural scene. Everything is very Good in this university like faculties-Student relationship and cultural events done by various students but one bad thing is there and that is the food of canteen and area of the canteen area.

  • Hello, I am Kanak. I studied from Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur. This is a Central University and gives good opportunities to the students.
  • I was enrolled in BSc. chemistry. The eligibility criteria for taking admission is you should have 60% in 10+2 exam in case of general and 50-55% in case of SC/ST so there is a common entrance test (CET) for all bachelor degree. The exam is easy and if your basic is clear in 10+2, then you can easily pass out and there is no negative marking.
  • The admission procedure for taking admission after you pass the exam is that you have to go for counseling and then if you are selected you have to pay your admission fees as according to your degree through challan process.

  • Institute of Technology - Guru Ghasidas University also called as ITGGV or ITGGU was established in 1997. It was upgraded to a central university in the year 2009. The college provides four-year undergraduate degree in seven departments (Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Production, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science and Information Technology) and two-year postgraduate degree in two departments(Mechanical and Chemical).
  • The eligibility criteria is the same as for applying for JEE-Mains (formerly AIEEE).
  • The students can get admission in the college through their JEE-Mains(formerly AIEEE) rank, there is no specific entrance exam for Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya.
  • The student will have to appear for the counseling and they will be allotted a seat in any government college according to their ranks.
  • After the seat allotment, students will have to report to the college to confirm their seat. 
  • They will also have to submit their documents to the Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya college authority along with the application form that is available on the website.
