Gujarat College admission is open for various UG/ PG programmes. The college is one of the oldest institutions in the state of Gujarat. Located in the heart of the city of Ahmedabad, with a sprawling campus and Victorian architectural buildings, its Arts and Science faculties closely knit the college. Its reputation for outstanding achievements is known world-wide and reflects the intellectual achievements of the students. At present, the college houses 12 departments of Arts faculty, 8 departments of science, and a full-time degree course in drama. The institute is also having separate buildings for office, library, hostel, gymkhana, canteen, a residence for principal, rector, wardens and staff; State Bank of India branch, and Cooperative societies. The institute runs 21 undergraduate courses in all. The institute has a student section to look after admission, registration, examinations, scholarships, and other associated activities. The college has installed multiple high-speed internet connections for every building. We have ambitious plans to update laboratory facilities and to start new and new post-graduate programs from the next academic term.

Gujarat Arts and Science College Admission 2024

Gujarat Arts and Science College is one of the oldest educational institutions in India. It is located in the crux of the city. It was established in 1860 in the name of Gujarat Provincial College. Gujarat Arts and Science College offers admissions to courses in B.A, B.Sc, and BBA at the undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, the college offers degree courses including M.A and M.Sc. Second and Third-year admissions are also offered all undergraduate courses. Gujarat Arts and Science College admission can be done offline by collecting the form from the university. Admissions are done based on merit. The GASC placement cell assists students in getting placed in various MNCs. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of arts and science. The college was accredited by NAAC scoring grade 2.83 on a four-point scale. It is affiliated to Gujarat University. GASC admission is based on merit in the qualifying exam.

The college is known to offer a plethora of UG courses in the discipline of science, arts, commerce, business management, and computer application. Candidates will be admitted on a first come first serve basis in case of B.A and B.Sc courses. Merit-based admissions will be conducted for courses in B.Com, BCA, BBA, and BBM.

Gujarat Arts and Science College UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

Students holding three years Diploma Course in any stream after class 10th of Board of Technical Education or its equivalent are eligible to apply for First Year Admissions. Candidates should have studied English as a compulsory subject in class 12th. Admissions to B.Sc Computer Science, BBA will be granted purely on merit basis. Those applying for the course in BBA need to secure a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in class 12th.

The college also runs courses in M.Sc and MA at the postgraduate level. The selection is affected either by first come first serve basis or merit of last qualifying examination. Applications are invited in online mode in June 2024 and admissions shall take place after the declaration of results of Part 1 in each course.

Gujarat Arts and Science College PG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

The admission of the students is based on the merit scored by the candidates in the college's entrance test and the previous year qualifying examinations. They should also provide study, Character, and Migration certificates. The fee structure will be as per the college norms.
