General Requirements for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions 2019:

  • The admission process at Greater Noida Institute of Technology is merit-based.

  • Candidates must attend the UPSEE and clear the examination with valid scores for the eligibility.

  • Applicants applying for M.Tech must qualify GATEGPAT with valid scores.

  • After the declaration of the UPSEE results notification appears on the official website, candidates must attend the UPSEE counseling.

  • Step 1: Produce the original UPSEE seat allotment letter and collect the following from admission coordinator:

    • Prospectus and Fee Structure

    • List of documents

    • Admission form request letter

    • Anti-Ragging affidavit by the student and the parents

    • Temporary ID card form

    • Year Gap affidavit (if applicable)

    • Scholarship request letter

    • Scholarship Form

    • Scholarship affidavit of the student and the parent

    • Bus Pass form (if interested)

    • Hostel registration form

    • ID generation form

    • Hostel affidavit of the student and the parent

    • Loan letter (if required)

  • Step 2: Fill up the request letter for the issue of the admission form.

  • Contact the scholarship coordinator along with the photocopy of the documents listed behind the request letter for issue of scholarship form.

  • Deposit form no. 09 along with the documents.

  • The scholarship coordinator verifies the documents and then approves the scholarship.

  • Step 3: Candidates are requested to contact the admission coordinator with the Request letter for issue of Admission Form (From no.3) with the photocopies of documents listed in from no.3 and obtain the permission for admission file.

  • The admission file includes 1)Admission Application Form (From no.4) 2)I.D Generation Form (Form no.16).

  • Step 4: The student is informed to sit in the waiting room and fill up the admission and I.D generation form.

  • Submit the list of documents required (Form no.2) for completion of

    admission

    file.

  • Step 5: Candidates are requested to contact the respective file coordinators for I.D generation and Fee deposit slip.

  • Step 6: Collect the fee deposit slip from the coordinator and deposit the fee at the Accounts section.

  • Step 7: In case the candidate wants to avail hostel facilities he/ she has to contact the respective hostel warden and collect the Hostel Registration (Form no.14)  and photocopy of the required Hostel fee deposited for booking the room. 

  • Step 8: If the candidate wants to avail transport facilities, he/she has to contact the Transport Officer with from no.13 to avail the bus pass.

  • Contact the respective file coordinators for ID generation and fee deposit slip.

  • Step 9: Candidates are asked to report to the institute at the scheduled date and time mentioned on the website.

  • The candidates can go through the GNIOT Fee Structure on the official website

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • Applicant must have cleared the Higher Secondary School examination from a recognized board.

  • The student must have scored a minimum of 50% marks.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

  • Candidate must have cleared a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized university in any branch.

  • Students applying through UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam) must have scored a minimum of 45% marks to get through the admissions.

  • SC/ST students applying through UPSEE must have scored a minimum of 40% marks. 

  • In the case of direct admissions, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for the program.

  • SC/ST candidates can be eligible with 45% marks.

  • Students belonging to the Diploma in Agriculture / Pharmacy / Architecture Engineering are not eligible to apply for the program. 

  • The program is also open for B.Sc graduates from a recognized university.

M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering)

A B.Tech degree with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognized university is mandatory.

M.Tech (Civil Engineering)

Eligibility Criteria for PGDM

  • The applicant must have passed a 3 year Bachelor's degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

  • Candidate must have passed Mathematics in higher secondary or graduation.

Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses.

MAM {Dual Degree}:

  • The applicant must have cleared 12th standard examination or equivalent from a recognized board.

  • A minimum of 45% marks must be scored by the candidate to get through the admissions through UPSEE.

  • SC/ST candidates applying through UPSEE are eligible to apply with 40% marks.

  • In case of direct admissions, the applicant must have scored a minimum of 50% marks and SC/ST students are eligible to apply with 45% marks.
