General Requirements for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Application Process 2019

Application Process - GLA University, Mathura

  • GLAET" is conducted for all the courses offered by the University except the Ph.D programme.

  • The graduate courses offered through GLAET are B.Tech, BBA, B.Com Hons, B.Pharm, BCA, BA Hons, B.Sc Hons, B.Com LLB, BA LLB, B.Ed and D.Pharm.

  • Postgraduate courses offered through GLAET are, MBA, M.Pharm, MCA, M.Sc, M.Tech, and MA.

  • Apart from the above courses, Diploma, Postgraduate Diploma, Short-term Diploma courses are also offered through GLAET.

  • The University also has a Doctoral programme for which a separate Ph.D Entrance Test will be conducted by the University.

Online Process:

  • The registration form for GLAET is available on the official website for GLA University, Mathura admissions 2019.

  • Click 'New Applicant Registration' and fill the Sign-Up form with the basics details.

  • After filling the form, click 'SignUp' and receive an OTP to the registered Mobile Number. Verify the OTP and then you will receive a Registration No. and Password.

  • Now click the 'Already Registered Applicant' and enter your Registration Number and Password in the Login form:

  • Fill the application form with Personal, Academic, Graduation, Residental details.

  • The application fees of INR 700/- (D.Pharma, Diploma in Engineering & B.Ed = INR 500/-) can be paid Online using Credit/ Debit Card or Net Banking.

  • The application fees can also be paid to the University through Demand Draft or by way of Cash at the following address:

  • After successful registration, a unique registration ID and password will be received by the candidate.

Offline Process:

  • The offline registration form can be downloaded and a print out can be taken.

  • Fill all the relevant details in the form and send the form with the following:

    • Attested photocopies of the marks sheets

    • DD drawn in favour of "GLA University" payable at "VRINDAVAN" for INR 700/- (for D.Pharm, Diploma in Engineering & B.Ed the fee is INR 500/-)

  • Mention "Offline GLAET 2019 Registration for *name of the course*" on the back side of the envelope before sending.

  • Registration Form can be sent by post or by hand to the following address:

  • Name and Unique ID of the candidate must be written on the back side of the Demand Draft.

Application Process for Other Courses.

Ph.D

  • Applications must be sent to the University for the Ph.D Entrance Test which is conducted by the University.

  • If the candidate has qualified any entrance test conducted by UGC / CSIR or equivalent, they must directly apply.

  • The fulfilment of the eligibility criteria for each course is compulsory.

Admission Process for MBA

The admission process is based on marks secured in CAT / MAT / XAT / UPSEE or equivalent entrance examination.

Admission Process for M.Pharm

GPAT scores will be considered for admission into the M.Pharm course.

Admission Process for M.Tech

The admission process will be based on marks secured in GATE Entrance Examination.

Admission Process for Other Courses.

Ph.D

  • Ph.D admission is based on the candidate's performance in the Ph.D Entrance Test or any equivalent test conducted by UGC / CSIR.

  • The Research Committees of the respective Departments will conduct interviews for the qualified candidates.

  • The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Sciences / Social Sciences / Humanities with minimum 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST category students.

  • Or, they should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum of 55% marks with a specialization in Science and Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Pharm

  • For GLA University admissions, the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects along with one of Mathematics / Biology with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST category students.

  • The candidate should be of 17 years of age as on the date of admission.

B.Pharm [Lateral Entry]:

  • The minimum requirement is to have passed D.Pharm with minimum 60% aggregate marks from any PCI approved Institution.

  • The candidate should be of 18 years of age as on the date of admission.

The candidate should have passed a Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as a mandatory subject at 10+2 or Graduation level with minimum 50% marks for General category and 45% marks for SC/ST category students.

MCA Lateral Entry

  • For Lateral Entry into MCA, the applicants must have completed BCA or B.Sc in IT / Computer Science with 50% aggregate marks (General Category) with Mathematics as a mandatory subject at 10+2 or Graduation level.

  • 5% relaxation is given to students from the reserved categories.
