Hello, 

Dyal Singh College is under the University of Delhi and works as in two shifts- morning and evening.

Morning college has all science, arts, and commerce streams. while in evening you would be able to join in arts and commerce only.

To get admission you should have to qualify cut off the list that will be provided by the college and approx cut off are around 85%

The admissions for b.com (h) were on merit basis. The procedure was quite simple. We had to take admission from office then submit it with the documents to the allotted teacher for admissions according to course. All my queries were also soughted there by teachers.

College with the best location and easy conveyance in the whole South campus. Fees for courses are also reasonable and faculty is also good. At my time of admission, the college was encouraging the girls' students' education by giving them a relaxation of 3% in the cut-off.

Eligibility is only 12th pass outs with any stream. There is a deduction of some marks if we go for a stream change like from science background in 12th to arts in graduation. There is no entrance examination, admission done on merit based. Typical Cutoffs are averaging 90%.

To get admission in botany hons, one must be a student of PCB in 10+2. Must be passed with an aggregate of 60 percentile. The highest cut off for my course is 96% (PCB) and least was 85% (PCB).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 

(10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He/She should have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate

The admission procedure for B.Com (Hons) in Dyal Singh College, Delhi is given below. 

Admission Procedure

After declaration of the Delhi University Admission Cut Off List by the University, the candidate will need to report to the college of his / her choice as per the Schedule of DU Admission. At this stage, the candidate would be required to fill the college form and the University enrolment form. The candidate would then get his/her documents verified, submit the same to the college and pay the fees.

The candidates who could not take in the Delhi University Cut Off list could be considered for in the immediate next list only on the last date of provided seats are available in the college/course

For Boards, whose results are declared late, candidates may be considered in whichever cut-off list their results are declared subject to availability.

Hi Hardil,

For B.Com, an aggregate of minimum 40% is required in the qualifying exam. To be more specific, the merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and 3 best electives subjects.

The first cut off went upto 96% last year.
