The college was established in 2004 in the sprawling CHM campus as a proud addition to the Institutes managed by Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board. The college initially conducted only the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) course. Over the years, it has become well known for its discipline and high academic standards. With excellent infrastructure, committed and knowledgeable faculty, the college has now built a strong undergraduate program. The institute is affiliated to the university of Mumbai.

The college was established with a view to promote an aptitude & keenness for pharmaceutical research and to generate a desire for Entrepreneurship in pharmaceutical & allied fields. At the institute, they implement holistic pedagogy for building such competencies in students as are required for playing a vital role in the Pharmaceutical industry or healthcare profession.
