There is an entrance test which is conducted by the institution and you will be intimated once you fill in the form in the college. There is a basic entrance exam which is simple yet you must be prepared for it. There is a cutoff though and it is in the range above 75%. It varies every year.
The eligibility criteria when I got admission was above 80% and above for my IT branch, and the last year the criteria were 82% plus for my IT branch. There is no entrance exam in this college. The cut-off for my course is around 78% till the last list is out.
The eligibility criteria were based upon MHT-CET or JEE marks. I have both the entrance exams. For Mechanical Engineering the cutoff was 130/200. (Although it keeps changing depending upon the difficulty of entrance exams)
Directly admission after pass-out, I have not given any exam and I get the direct interview
