Instruction for filling the form online:

  • The candidate has to log in the official website where the candidate will be able to see the "Home Page" for Undergraduate Admissions.

  • The candidate has to register here for a new application form.

  • Under the “Create New Account” page, all fields are mandatory and indicated by a red an asterisk (*) next to the name of the field.

  • The applicant shall enter the applicant’s name as mentioned in class XII Board Roll Number.

  • Enter your existing email-id and confirm it by entering it again.

  • The candidate must choose the security question from the drop-down menu an appropriate answer in the “Security Answer” box.

  • The candidate has to click on "Register" button to create an account.

  • After registering click on apply now.

  • Then after this, fill your personal details and educational qualifications.

The Candidate has to upload the following documents:

  • Passport size photograph of the applicant.

  • Scanned signature of the applicant.

  • Self-attested Class XII Mark-Sheet. (In case the Mark-Sheet is not issued by the Board then the self-attested copy of the Mark-Sheet downloaded from the respective board’s website should be uploaded).

  • Self-attested copy of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/KM/CW valid certificate, if applicable.

  • Self-attested copies of Sports/ECA certificates, if applicable.

General Requirements For Undergraduate Admissions 2019

  • Admissions on Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University are made purely on merit basis. 

  • In case the applicant is selected for admission, the original certificates along with attested copies will have to be submitted to the College at the time of admission.

  • The candidate should give character certificate from the Head of the College or School last attended, certificate of date of birth 

  • The candidate should give the Provisional certificate, a certificate of marks obtained in each subject at the last public examinations.

  • The candidate should give passport size photo.

  • In the case of Foreign students, a copy of Passport and Visa issued by competent authority.

  • Candidates who fail to submit all these documents within the time prescribed will not be considered for admission.

  • Candidates, claiming the benefit of being the children of officers and men of the Armed Forces killed or disabled in war, are required to get their names registered with the University Office.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com

  • The Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 45% are eligible for Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Delhi University admissions 2019.

  • The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best elective subjects.

  • There is a relaxation of 5% for the reserved category students.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com {Hons.}

The Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with 55% in aggregate or 60% aggregate of the vocational/technical stream with Commerce.

Eligibility Criteria for Other Courses.

The cutoff for B.Comhonorss is usually high. For taking up this course, the student should have maths as a subject but it is not necessary to count mathematics marks in the best four. The last cutoff is usually above 90% for general category and 85% above for other categories students. Delhi college of arts and commerce is in top 5 of the best colleges of DU for commerce.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

The criteria for getting admission in the Bcom honors course is the cutoff. There is no entrance exam for this course but one has to pass mathematics in 12th class for B.com honors while the course doesn't require to study mathematics. I got 95% marks in class 12th CBSE board and secured the admission. To get into any DU college for this course minimum cut off for the general is around 90%.

  • Admissions in Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, [DCAC] Delhi University were based on 12th-grade percentage. The management at the time of Admission Process was really bad because of too much crowd.
  • Typical Cutoff for the course was 95-97%. There are no entrance exams for such courses which have a negative point because the intelligence of a person cannot be judged just by the academic performance of 12th-grade.

There are not very much rules for admission in b.a hons. for entrance you are required with a fix set of percentage in 12th which is so called cut off list. Mostly cutoffs for b.a hons( pol.sci) ranges between 8.9-9.6.

2. Admissions are made purely on merit basis.

3. There is no minimum age bar for admission to under graduate courses, and its colleges except in professional courses where regulatory body prescribes minimum age requirement (such as MCI, AICTE, etc.).

4. In case the applicant is selected for admission the original certificates along with attested copies will have to be submitted to the College at the time of admission:
( i ) A character certificate from the Head of the College or School last attended.
( ii ) A certificate of date of birth issued by the Board of Education.
( iii ) Provisional certificate of the last public examination passed.
( iv ) A certificate of marks obtained in each subject at the last public examination.
( v ) Three recent passport size photographs.
( vi ) In case of Foreign students, a copy of Passport and Visa issued by competent authority.

Candidates who fail to submit all these documents within the time prescribed will not be considered for admission.

5. Candidates, claiming the benefit of being the children of officers and men of the Armed Forces killed or disabled in war, are required to get their names registered with the University Office.

6. Admission of foreign students is handled by the Foreign Students Advisor, Foreign Students Registrar C/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. No Foreign student is admitted directly by the College unless he/she produces a letter from the Foreign Students Advisor University of Delhi, regarding his/her eligibility and clearance of his/her holding students visa. Every Foreign student other than Tibetan refugee is required to pay 100 US Dollar per year as foreign students fee. The fee will be charged in rupee @ prevailing on the day of admission.
