Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute Admission 2024: Check Entrance Exams, Courses Offered, Admission Details

• The candidate must complete their age of 17 years on or before the year of Chettinad University, Kanchipuram admissions 2024

• They must have passed in 10+2 scheme with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with a minimum of 45% of total marks.

• The students belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC must possess 40% of marks in aggregates from the above-mentioned subjects.

• They must be medically fit.

Post Basic B.Sc

• The applicant must pass in 10+2 or an equivalent exam recognized by the University.

• They must obtain a Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery, shall produce evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Registration council for a similar duration in lieu of midwifery in any of the below-mentioned areas:

  • Cancer Nursing.

  • Community Health Nursing.

  • Leprosy Nursing.

  • Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing.

  • Ophthalmic Nursing.

  • O.T. Techniques.

  • Orthopedic Nursing.

• They must be medically fit.

The admission is based on their performance in the entrance exam and the marks obtained in the qualifying examination marks taken together.

Post Basic B.Sc

• The candidate will be called for counseling in the order of merit list based on their marks obtained in the entrance examination.

• Selection of the shortlisted applicant will be based on the merit list and personal interview. 

• The students must be a Registered Nurse and midwife of equivalence with any State Nursing Registration Council.

• They must pass in B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregates.

• They should possess at least one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc Nursing or One year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.

• The candidate must be medically fit for this program.

• The applicant has the get the printout of the application form provided in the official website.

• The required details have to be filled by the applicant by themselves in their handwriting and signed in the appropriate space.

• The filled application form should be submitted along with the application fee and with necessary documents enclosed with it:

  • B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing/ B.Sc Hons. Nursing certificate and mark sheet.

  • General Nursing and Midwifery/ Diploma in Nursing certificate, if any.

  • Registered Nurse and Midwifery Certificate from the state.

  • HSC mark sheet.

  • Character certificate.

  • Caste certificate.

  • Transfer certificate.

  • Migration certificate.

  • Aadhar card.

  • Medical fitness certificate.

  • DD of Rs. 200/- in favor of the university which is non-refundable.

Selection of the applicant will be based on the marks obtained by them in the entrance examination and the marks they possess in the qualifying exam taken together.

MBBS/ M.Ch/ MD/ MS

• The applicant has to visit the official website for the application form.

• The application form has to be downloaded and printed out.

• After downloading the application form it has to be filled by themselves and has to be signed in the given area.

• The filled application form has to be submitted along with the application fee and true copies necessary documents have to be accompanied with the application form.  

B.Sc/ Post Basic B.Sc

• The candidate must apply in the prescribed application form downloaded from the official website.

• The application form should be filled by the applicant in their handwriting and signed.

• The filled up application form can be submitted along with the requisite fees and self-attached true copies of the documents:

  • 10th mark sheets.

  • Character certificate.

  • Community caste certificate.

  • Transfer certificate.

  • Migration certificate.

  • Aadhar card.

  • medical fittness certificate.

  • DD in favor of the University of amount Rs. 100/- for the cost of the application which is non-refundable.

• Passport/ VISA or any other relevant documents for NRI candidates.

MBBS/ M.Ch/ MD/ MS

The admission process is based on the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination and marks secured in the qualifying test.

Selected students will be called for a personal interview and group discussion

MD Pre and Para-clinical/ MD Clinical

• The candidate must complete the age of 17 years on or before the year of admission.

• They should possess a Bachelor's degree in the relevant course.

The candidate should possess a UG degree for the relevant course from a recognized University.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.

• They must shortlist in the entrance examination conducted by the central board.

• The student seeking admission for MBBS course must be an Indian Citizen.

• They must complete the age of 17 years on or before the year of the admission.

• They should shortlist in the medical entrance examination conducted by the State/ Central Government with a valid score.
