Eligibility Criteria at BMS College for Women, [BMSCW] Bangalore:

Eligibility Criteria for BA:

• Candidates applying must pass 10+2 from a recognised Board in any discipline to be eligible.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in their 12th standard in the subject of interest.

Optional subjects/Combination subjects:

• History, Economics and Sociology
  
• History, Economics and Kannada
  
• Psychology, Economics and Sociology
  
• Journalism, Psychology and English
  
• Journalism, Psychology and Kannada

Eligibility Criteria for BBM:

• Candidates applying for BBM course must pass 10 +2 from a recognised Board in any stream to be eligible.
• Candidates must pursue English as passing subject in their 12th standard to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must secure 45% marks in 12th standard.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Com:

• Candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognised Board to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must pursue Mathematics and English as their compulsory subjects in their 12th standard to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in these subjects.

Eligibility Criteria for BCA:

• Candidates applying for BCA course must pass in 10+2 examination in any stream from any recognised Board of education to be eligible.
• Candidates must pursue Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% in these subjects to be eligible.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc: 

• Candidates must pass 10+2 from a recognised Board to be eligible to apply.
• Candidates must pursue Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must secure a minimum of 55% in their 12th.

Application Process at BMS College for Women, [BMSCW] Bangalore:

Application Process for BA, BBM, B.Com, BCA, B.Sc:

• A Student seeking admission to the college should apply in the prescribed form on or before the specified date.
• Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
• Students coming from Universities other than Karnataka State should furnish Migration Certificate at the time of admission.
• SC / ST / BT / BC and other students who claim exemption from tuition fee, laboratory fee etc., as per government rules, should submit the latest Income Certificate and Caste Certificate in original along with an attested copy.

The students selected should submit the following at the time of admission:

• Statement of Marks in original.
• Transfer Certificate in original.
• Two recent passport size and one stamp size photos.
• Any other relevant certificates w.r.t. income, SC / ST etc.,
• The prescribed admission fee to be remitted through DD

• Selection of candidates will be done as per government rules. The list of selected candidates will be notified on the college notice board. The Principal reserves the right to admission
• All admissions are provisional and subject to the approval of Bangalore University.
• Failure in fulfilling the eligibility criteria by any candidate will not be selected.
