Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is a Registered Society and a Charitable Trust founded in 1938 by Dr. K M Munshi. The college is located in Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. Bhavan’s Leelavati Munshi College of Education (BLMCE) is the newest addition in the galaxy of institutions under Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. This college is geared towards providing avenues for developing teachers and educators across levels: elementary level, secondary and senior secondary level. Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan‘s Leelavati Munshi College of Education, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi,  strives to be an Institution of Teacher Education catering to the needs of pre-service teachers who do not restrict themselves to only being teachers transacting chapters, subjects, and syllabi but being Educators in a real sense: educators who are able to touch upon all the aspects of their students and bring to the forth all the latent potentialities of their students thereby transforming the future generation of our society.

BLMCE Admission 2024

Bhavan’s Leelavati Munshi College of Education (BLMCE) was established in 2016 with the recognition of NCTE and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college offers B.Ed and Diploma in elementary education. Seats are allocated to the aspiring candidates on the basis of their rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by GGSIPU. To start with the college is starting with the B.Ed course. Other courses like Diploma in Elementary Education and Post-graduate Diploma in Educational Administration and Management are in the pipeline. This college has been named after Late Smt. Leelavati Munshi, wife of our founder Late Kulpati K M Munshi.

BLMCE UG Admission 2024

Bhavan’s Leelavati Munshi College of Education (BLMCE) offers a full-time B. Ed program, recognized by NCTE and affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The duration of B.Ed. The course is 2 years (full time). The college has 100 seats for the B.Ed course. Seat allocation is done by the affiliating university for 100%  seats as the college has surrendered Management quota seats also to the students.

BLMCE UG Eligibility

Only CET qualified applicants shall be considered for admission, through University Counselling, subject to fulfillment of eligibility and admission criteria. The candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination from a recognized board

BLMCE Diploma Admission 2024

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED) is a full-time two-year Diploma course for undergraduate /graduates. This course is for candidates who choose to become teachers. 

BLMCE Diploma Eligibility 

The minimum eligibility for admission in the BLMCE is candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination. The admission is based on merit-based on SCERT.

• Click on the admission tab
• Download the admission brochure for the required course
• Students must attach the required certificate where it is asked(For B.Ed students should attach the CET admit card)
• The candidate should attach the documents
• Class X/ D.O.B
• Class XII
• Graduation-All Years 
• Post- Graduation-All years 
• Aadhar photocopy
• CET- Roll No.
• Admit Card of CET – In Case of lost CET Admit card, Student should submit a copy of the FIR (Offline or Online). 
• Admission Slip 
• Provisional Allotment Letter v. Fee Receipt (GGSIPU)
• For D.El.Ed Provisional Allotment Letter – SCERT is required
• After the allotment of the seat, the candidates will have to pay the part Admission fee of Rs 1,800 to confirm the allotment and participation in the subsequent round of list/counseling.
