Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune admission 2019 requires the candidate passing 10+2 standard or any other examination equivalent from a recognised Board/ University.

  • He/ She should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject as and with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for Schedule Castes / Schedule Tribes categories and Persons with Disability).

OR

The candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology from AICTE approved institution with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribes categories and Persons with Disability).

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech

M.Tech (Civil-Hydraulic Engineering):

Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune admission 2019 requires the candidate to complete BE/ B.Tech degree in Civil engineering / Environmental engineering/ Construction technology or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE (Civil).

M.Tech. (Computer Engineering / M. Tech (IT):

The candidates should posses BE/ B.Tech degree in Computer/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications / Industrial Electronics / Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE (Computer Engineering).

M.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) The candidate should have completed BE /B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or AMIE (Chemical Engineering).

M.Tech. (Electrical - Power Systems):

He/ She should have completed BE/ B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch to qualify for admission.

M.Tech. (Electronics - VLSI Design):

Bharati Vidyapeeth University College of Engineering, Pune admission 2019 requires the candidate to pass BE / B.Tech degree in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Telecommunications, Industrial Electronics or its equivalent from an AICTE approved institution or candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch.

M. Tech. (Mechanical - CAD/CAM):

He/ She should have completed BE /B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production or its equivalent from an AICTE or a similar recognised institution candidate should possess AMIE in the respective branch.

M.Tech (Nanotechnology):

The eligibility criteria is pretty nominal, you need a atleast a 60% average marks in your boards to appear for the exam There is a separate entrance examination held every year. The questions asked is pretty much easy. But if you're looking to get in computer science branch than you better get yourself among the first 100 ranks. Next to fill up is IT branch max to max selection goes upto 1000 rank

Bharati vidyapeeth university college of engineering conducts a exam BVP-cet for admission . You need to clear the exam . The eligibility criteria to appear for exam is you need to score more than 50% in pcm in class 12 exams . The cutoffs for computerscience is 130 rank in the entrance exam For information technology it is around 400 rank and 1200 rank for electronics and telecommunications

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Bharti Vidyapeeth is a deemed University and conducts its own entrance exam called BVP CET. Those students who have more than 60% marks in the 12th Board are applicable to write this exam. Cut-off depends on the performance and marks scored on the entrance exam. On the basis of average performance cut-off is set and then eligible students are called for the counseling session at our campus in Pune.

The admission process for Btech in BVUCOE:

Eligibility Criteria for admission to First Year of B-Tech Courses

The candidate seeking admission to any of these courses should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (HSC) or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC) or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 or HSC examination of any recognized Board/ University from any school /college situated in India.

  1. The minimum qualification for admissions in Degree Engineering Programme is that the candidate should have passed in 10+2 (qualifying) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following optional subject:

    a) Chemistry b) Bio-Technology c) Technical Vocational Subject d) Biology

    The candidate must have obtained at least 45 percent marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to ST/SC category) in the above subjects taken together at the qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 / HSC/Equivalent.
  2. Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e. HSC etc. but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for CET (Engineering), provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects in the said examinations. However they should produce mark-sheet of HSC at time of counselling.
