General Requirements for Undergraduate & Postgraduate Admissions 2019

  • After the submission of the application form, the candidates will have to submit the scores of 12th and other exams [if applicable] to the selection process.

  • Based on the candidate's performance in the exams, the seats will be allotted according to the choice of their program.

  • The candidates will be sent an offer letter based on merit, which they will receive by email.

  • Those who receive the offer letter will have to pay the enrolment fee by the date mentioned in the offer letter

  • Classes will commence for these students after document verification.

  • The enrolled students will receive an email notifying them about the date of commencement of classes.

  • Bennett University, Noida Fee Structure is available on the college website for students' reference.

Admission Process for B.Tech

  • The candidates will be offered admission on the basis of scores in 10+2, JEE Main (for all B.Tech programmes except B.Tech Biotechnology), NEET (for B.Tech Biotechnology),  SAT.

  • SAT is conducted by the College Board. The Designated Institute (DI) code is 7594. The applicants must use this code to send their transcripts.

  • Admissions will be offered on the basis of merit.

Admission Process for MBA

  • Bennett University, Noida will shortlist the candidates on the basis of:

    • CAT / GMAT / NMAT by GMAC / XAT / GRE / MAT scores or percentile

    • A strong and consistent academic record

    • Work experience (if any)

    • Extra curricular activities showcasing leadership qualities and societal contribution.

  • Shortlisted students will be called for personal interview (PI).

  • Candidates who have scored above 80 percentile, in the MAT exam, will be called for an interview.

  • The university will generate final merit list on the basis of the performance in the PI and Entrance Exams scores.

  • The seat intake is 50, out of which, 15% is for the International Category.

Admission Process for BA

  • The candidates may have to take a language proficiency test either in English or Hindi depending on the language they have chosen.

  • The seat intake for BA Journalism & Mass Communication (English) is 120, whereas, the seat intake is 60 for BA Journalism & Mass Communication (Hindi).

Admission Process for BBA

  • The admission to this course will be done either on the basis of academic performance or through scores in SAT conducted by the College Board.

  • The applicants must use the Designated Institute (DI) code, 7594 to send their transcripts.

  • The intake for BBA is at 180+ in Bennett University.

Admission Process for LLB

The admissions will be based on scores in LSAT-2019 or Delhi University Law Entrance Test

  • The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit in 10+2 and the scores in CLAT, LSAT-India 2019.

  • The approved intake for BBA LLB [Hons] is 120 and for BA LLB [Hons] is 60.

Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media (English) / Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Media (Hindi)

  • Online / offline entrance test is conducted to test the candidate's English / Hindi proficiency depending on the chosen language.

  • The seat intake for these courses is 30 per course.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Journalism

  • Admission is based on the online / offline entrance test that is conducted to test the candidate's English proficiency and their basic understanding of business.

  • The intake for this course is 30.

  • The Doctoral Admission Committee of the respective schools will shortlist the applications for Admission Test / Interview.

  • For Engineering and Sciences programmes:

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

  • Physics & Mathematics are compulsory for all B.Tech branches except for Biotechnology.

  • For B.Tech (Biotechnology), Physics & Biology are compulsory.

  • The candidates need to have passed 10+2 with at least five subjects and a minimum aggregate of 60%.

  • For Non-Biotechnology programmes, Bennett University, Noida requires the candidate to have applied for or qualified JEE-Main valid up to the month of July of the year of admission.

  • NRI/ International students are required to qualify SAT conducted by the College Board. 

  • For B.Tech Biotechnology, NEET scores are compulsory.

  • All those who seek admission to the B.Tech course should not be more than 21 years of age.

The application form for Bennett University, Noida is available online.
 
After receiving all the applications, a merit list will be released based on your score in the entrance exams (CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE). Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Final selection will be done on overall performance. 
 
Admission criteria (Exams accepted): CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE with validity up to July 2017 and beyond.
Cut-off (Exam accepted per course): 60% aggregate marks.

Step-3.  Announcement of Merit List based on actual marks in paper -1 of JEE (Main) 2016.

Step-4.  Counseling( if name shortlisted) shall be held on-line/conducted at specified venue(s) around 25 June  2016. Monitor and view the University website, for more details, without fail.

Step-5.  Registration and commencement of classes, by End July, 2016(Tentative).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  1. Criteria of subjects in 10+2 Exams

    Min 5 Subjects in 10+2 or its equivalent examination (as defined by JEE) with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates with 4 subjects in 10+2 class are not eligible.

  2. Criteria of Marks in 10+2 Exams

    The candidate must obtain minimum of 60% aggregate marks in three subjects to include Physics, and Mathematics (Compulsory) and one subject amongst Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, informatics practices and multimedia and web technology. The marks shall be verified at the time of document inspection.

  3. Criteria of Qualifying Examination

    The minimum academic qualification for admission to any one of the programs is as laid down by JEE. The 10+2 Exam must be passed in 2014, 2015 or 2016. All candidates who are offered provisional admission during counseling will be required to produce proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) to the University authorities during document inspection at the time of counseling/ registration, failing which, such provisional admission will stand cancelled.

    If the results of 10+2 examinations are likely to be declared after 15, July, 2016 the candidates are advised to seek admission next year. No representations for extension of dates shall be entertained.

  4. Criteria for Date of Birth

    Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01,October, 1995 (Date of Birth as recorded in the High School/Secondary Education Board/University Certificate only will be taken as authentic) are only eligible to apply for admission.

  5. General Instructions on conditions of Eligibility

    • Candidates must produce certificate of proof of the above conditions at the time of counseling   failing which, they will be disqualified.
    • If an applicant is found ineligible even at a later date after admission to the University, his/her admission will stand cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents of the candidates. The decision of the Admissions Committee of the University regarding the eligibility of any applicant shall be final.
