Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College which was formally known as Sanatan Dharma College was founded on 3 August 1959. It is a co-educational constituent of the University of Delhi. ARSD PG Admission 2019

The college offers PG courses in Arts and Commerce. The admission is based on merit. The duration of the course is 2 years. The admission will be carried according to the guidelines of the university.

ARSD PG Eligibility 

For PG courses one needs to have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum percentage of marks in total. The eligibility for MA English is BA(Hons) in English with 60% marks in total. For  M.Com the eligibility is to have a B.Com(Hons) with 65% marks in total or B.Com(Prog) with 70% marks in total.

50% of the admissions in this college are based on merit and rest is based on the entrance exam for undergraduate courses. Last year's eligibility criteria for this college was

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

To get admission in any college of Delhi University one should fill up the Delhi university application form. Then online cut off the list will be declared by centralized Delhi University. If you fall under that cut off the one has to visit physically and then get his/her admission confirmed by paying application fees. Typically to get M.Sc in (H) Physics in ARSD college one should have the best of four subject marks to be between 90-95 %. If you don't fall under 1st cutoff then one can wait for 2nd and 3rd cutoff.

Our college is one of the most prestigious colleges in Delhi University. The eligibility criteria and cut offs are therefore very high usually. Last year the cut off for my course was closed to 91% while for the honours courses were quite high as well. As there are no entrance exams for my course in DU, therefore everything depends on the cutoff.

The eligibility criteria was 12th pass with at least 50% marks, and 75% in English. The admission procedure was the submission of all original documents (Mark sheets and other certificates). The typical cutoffs start at 96% and fall to 91% for good and reputed colleges.

The student should be 12th pass out with above 90% if he is a GENERAL category else 85-90 if he/she is from OBC category.  else 80% if he is an SC category student. At my period of time, there was no entrance exam for this course. Already mentioned above.

The admission process was totally based on percentage and cutoffs were very high though some manage to clear through cutoffs others didn't, and sadly they have to wait for another year to retry the same process.

Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Admissions for general category goes to a minimum of 85% for obc they are about 83% and for SC 75% and ST 73%. There is also reservation for pwd and Kashmiri migrants. Girls are given 1% relaxation on the cutoff.
