AIIMS Jodhpur MBBS Admission 2024

The AIIMS Jodhpur offers an MBBS course to candidates and it mainly follows a disciplinary structure. The course duration is of four and a half years, followed by a compulsory rotatory internship of one year. The course consists of nine semesters, each semester is of six months.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for MBBS in AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

  • Candidates should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as of 31st of December during the year of admission (2024).
  • Candidates should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/senior school certificate examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination of a recognized University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the subject. 
  • Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination, only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks. 
  • If the institute has to consider an examination of an Indian university or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian university/Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination.
  • The minimum aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology obtained in the qualifying examination required for appearing in the entrance examination are 60% for General and OBC candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
  • Candidates with CGPA grades only will have to apply the conversion factor in the application form. The conversion factor should be approved by their respective examination.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 & Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals will apply to them. The candidate will submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955/NRI to be eligible to appear for this test.
  • Foreign candidates nominated by the Government of India are required to have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination to be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S. Course.
  • Foreign Nationals are required to contact the Indian Mission/Post abroad in their country and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi for nomination. Foreign candidates nominated by the Government of India are "not" required to appear at the Competitive Entrance Examination.

MBBS Selection Process

AIIMS Jodhpur MBBS selection process is the final phase of the admission process. Based on the NEET cut-off score and minimum marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent, the candidates are selected and chosen for counselling. During counselling, the candidates are selected based on the availability of seats, the number of applicants, and the reservation category.

AIIMS Jodhpur B.Sc Nursing Admission 2024

The AIIMS Jodhpur B.Sc nursing admission 2024 is offered for four years. Along with these four years, a half years followed by a compulsory internship of 6 months for candidates pursuing Bachelor of Science in nursing.

B.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria

A candidate is eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination if he/she

  • Is an Indian citizen
  • Has attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as of the 31st of December of the year of admission (2024).
  • Has passed the 12th class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination from a recognized University/ Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects.
  • Has minimum aggregate marks of 55% for Gen/OBC and 50% in the case of SCs/STs categories in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, in qualifying examination, i.e., 10+2 or equivalent.

Note:

  • For B.Sc. (Hons.) In the nursing course, only female candidates are eligible. (Common to AIIMS New Delhi & other Six AIIMS)
  • Candidates who are to appear in the 12th class examination under the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination in March/April 2024 and whose results are likely to be declared before 30th June, 2024 are also eligible to apply for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing.
  • Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting results, can also apply for admission. But such candidates must furnish proof of passing the qualifying examination with the requisite percentage of marks and subjects at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

B.Sc Nursing Selection Process

AIIMS Jodhpur B.Sc selection process is the final phase of the admission process. Based on the AIIMS B.Sc (Hons) Nursing entrance exam cut-off score and minimum marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent, the candidates are selected and chosen for counselling. During counselling, the candidates are selected based on the availability of seats, the number of applicants, and the reservation category.

AIIMS Jodhpur MD Admission 2024

AIIMS Jodhpur offers a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) for candidates which has a course duration of three years. The admission to the course is based on thr fulfillment of the well structured eligibility criteria stipulated by the institute.

MD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for MD admission in AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

  • A candidate must possess an MBBS degree for an MD degree course at a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating Internship/Practical training on or before 30th July, 2024. Candidates who have completed their internship after 30th July, 2024 are not eligible for registration in this examination.

  • The candidate must have obtained a minimum of the following marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations

(i) For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate

(ii) For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate

The AIIMS Jodhpur offers a degree of MDS in AIIMS Jodhpur has a course duration of three years. The candidates joining the MDS degree course will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria and selection process. The selection process is based on the PG entrance exam and selection process.

MDS Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for MDS admission in AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

The candidates selected and chosen for counselling must hold a BDS degree from any university duly recognized by the Dental Council of India or State Dental Council. AIIMS Jodhpur MCH Admission 2024

The institute offers a degree of Master of Chirurgiaein (MCH) which has a course duration of three years. The admission is offered based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria as per the institute and on the PG entrance exam.

The degree of M.Sc Medical in AIIMS Jodhpur has a course duration of two years. The admission to the Master of Science course is offered based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and on the PG entrance exam followewd by the counselling session.

MSc Medical Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc admission in AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

  • The candidate must possess one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates, 55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates in aggregate in the qualifying examination

M.Sc Medical Selection Process

AIIMS Jodhpur M.Sc Medical selection process is the final phase of the admission process and is based on the AIIMS PG entrance exam cut-off score and minimum marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent. The candidates selected and chosen for counselling must hold an MBBS/ BDS/ B.V.Sc/ B.Pharmacy/ Bachelor of Physiotherapy/ B.Sc degree from any recognized university. During counselling, the candidates are selected based on the availability of seats, the number of applicants, and the reservation category.

AIIMS Jodhpur M.Sc Nursing Admission 2024

The duration of certified study for the Master of Science in nursing course shall extend for two academic years. The maximum period to complete the course successfully should not exceed four years.

M.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for M.Sc Nursing admission in AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

  • Candidates should have passed the B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from this Institution or any other Indian Nursing Council (INC) recognized college/institute with 60% aggregate marks (55% in case of SC/ST candidates).

  • Candidates can submit a certificate of registration sub-speciality as a Nurse and Midwife from the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council at the time of joining if they are selected.

M.Sc Nursing Selection Process

AIIMS Jodhpur M.Sc Nursing selection process is the final phase of the admission process and is based on the AIIMS PG entrance exam cut-off score and minimum marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent. AIIMS Jodhpur MPH Admission 2024

The AIIMS Jodhpur MPH admission comprises various modules and postings in and out of AIIMS Jodhpur. The duration of the program is two years. The package is divided into a foundation course, a basic course, and advanced courses.

MPH Eligibility Criteria

The AIIMS Jodhpur PhD admission 2024 i.e. Doctor of Philosophy course commences in January and July every year. All Vacant seats will be advertised in national dailies in March for the July session and September for the January session. The Last date for the admission process is 28th February for the January session and 31st August for the July session. There shall be no mention of the subject or speciality in the PhD certificate awarded to successful candidates. However, the full title of the thesis will be recorded in the certificate. The duration of the course will be the period from registration to submission of the thesis, i.e., a minimum of three years. However, the maximum period of registration shall not exceed five years.

PhD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for PhD admission to AIIMS Jodhpur are as follows

A candidate seeking admission to the PhD program conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur must possess at least one of the following qualifications: 

  • A degree of Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences or Laboratory Medicine with at least 60% marks.
  • A degree of Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomate of the National Board of Examinations.
  • A degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with a minimum of 55% of the aggregate marks in the professional examinations.

Candidates Working under the Central Govt./Semi Govt./Autonomous organizations should submit their application through proper channels i.e. through the employer. A ‘No Objection Certificate’ is mandatory from their employer before joining the PhD program.

Requirement for admission of foreign nationals:

  • The foreign nationals are required to send their application through Diplomatic channels. They are also required to appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination along with other candidates.
  • They are required to apply in the prescribed form indicating the choice of the subject (only one subject) for admission to a postgraduate course leading to the award of a PhD degree.
  • No seat is reserved in any discipline for foreign nationals (except for the bilateral agreement between the Government of India and any other nation).
  • No Institute Fellowship will be provided to Sponsored/Foreign candidates.

PhD Selection Process

AIIMS Jodhpur Fellowship/Post Doctoral selection process is the final phase of the admission process. The candidates selected and chosen must hold an MD/MS postgraduate degree or equivalent from the Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institute in their respective discipline, with 3 years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident after obtaining the PG degree from an MCI recognized institute/college. Or, candidates can have a DM/M.Ch or equivalent degree from MCI recognized institute.

AIIMS Jodhpur Admission Process 2024

AIIMS Jodhpur admits students based on the AIIMS exam Jodhpur conducted by it, which is also limited to the availability of several seats. To be eligible to get admission to AIIMS Jodhpur, students need to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for which application forms are available online. Seats are reserved for backward classes as per the norms of the Indian Constitution.   • Step 4: Candidates need to enter the details of their qualifications like the name and the status of the qualifying exam.
  • Step 5: The registration fee varies according to the course and category of the candidate. Candidates must pay the registration fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
  • Step 6: Candidates should choose the examination centre. The real-time seat availability will be shown at the time of choosing the exam city.

Note:

  • The details filled in the application form cannot be changed after submission.
  • Admissions to UG and PG programs are done based on past academic performance along with marks scored in the entrance examination. The selection of all the courses is either based on the NEET examination or entrance exams and Interviews conducted by AIIMS.
  • The city of examination once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained. Applicants should, therefore, indicate the choice of the city with the utmost care.
  • The conducting authority has the right to cancel or change the Exam Centre if necessary. The candidate has to accept the changes.
  • Candidates have to carry Admit Card along with any Government Id to the Exam Centre on the day of the examination.
