Eligibility Criteria For Admission 

Alagappa university offers M.Phil programmes for admission into the following disciplines:

Eligibility Criteria for admission into M.Phil programme:

A candidate seeking admission must have a post graduate degree in a relevant discipline with 55% marks. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum percentage required in the qualifying degree is 50%.  

 Post Graduate Diploma in Structural Pharmacogenomics

A candidate seeking admission must have passed  M.Sc.,Life Sciences/ M.Sc.,Agri./ Physics/Chemistry or M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Bioinformatics or any other course equivalent thereto with a minimum of 60% marks.

How to apply for admission

Post Graduate Diploma in Structural Pharmacogenomics , M.Phil/Ph.D in Science & M.Phil/Ph.D in Arts 

An applicant seeking admission can apply for M.Phil. and PG diploma program admission in offline mode only. You can obtain the application form by post, by person or can be downloaded from the official website of the university.

Application Fee:

For General Candidates' Admission: INR 500/-

For SC/ST Candidates' Admission: INR 250/-

There are two following methods to obtain the application form for admission:

By person/post: You can obtain the Application form for admission from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630003 on requisition along with a demand draft for Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST applicants on submission of a photocopy of Community certificate) drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY” payable at Karaikudi by post or in person.

Download from Website: You can download the application form from the official website of Alagappa university in which case, the cost of application form should be sent by way of demand draft while submitting the filled-in application form for admission.

Submit Application Form To Initiate Admission Process

An applicant seeking admission should submit the filled in application form with necessary certificates to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi during the office hours 10am -5.45 pm or send by post to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630003.
