Eligibility Criteria for MBBS/BDS and MD/MS/MDS Admissions

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS or BDS must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination from a recognised education board.
The candidate must be 17 years of age by the 31^st of December of the corresponding year of admission.
Those seeking admission to BDS and MBBS must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Science (Physics, Biology, Chemistry) and have compulsorily passed in English.
Those who seek to join MBBS and BDS must be medically fit.
For MD/MS and MDS admissions, candidates must have compulsorily finished the MBBS or BDS degree along with rotatory internship from a recognised institution.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc (Nursing) and BPT (Physiotherapy)

Candidates who seek admission in B.Sc Nursing and BPT must have completed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 40% aggregate marks. 5% relaxation is given to OBC/SC/ST candidates.

Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of 31^st December of the corresponding year of admission.

Cutoff and Entry Requirement for Admissions at Yenepoya University

The admissions will be done on the basis of merit from 10+2 examination taken along with the relevant entrance examination - NEET.
Students who seek admission must satisfy the required eligibility criteria to be considered for admissions, failing which their applications will stand cancelled.
Students must obtain at least half the marks in the medical entrance test in order to be eligible for counselling and admission.
Applicants who miss the interviews will not be considered for admission and hence their application stands cancelled.
Candidates scoring the highest marks will also be granted first preference to take the course of their choice and will be granted scholarships/waivers on their annual tuition fee.

Hostel and Mess at Yenepoya University

Hostels are provided on the campus for both men and women. Each hostel has an inmate capacity of 500.
Hostels are equipped with modern laundry equipment, internet connection, running water and power supply at all times of the day.
Students also have common spaces for recreation and interaction when there is no class. Indoor games have been provided.
Highly skilled security personnel are deployed in all the important areas of the campus and around the hostel complex.
Coolers are placed in most common areas to provide purified drinking water for the hostel residents.
The Yenepoya University campus also has residential quarters for staff members.
Students can also rent books/journals and get access to daily newspapers.
There is medical aid available for emergencies or consultancy if needed.
