Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai was established in the year 1999. It was approved by AICTE and affiliated with the University of Mumbai and awarded an ‘A’ Grade by the Govt. of Maharashtra. VIT college provides an environment for students to unfold into competent professionals and researchers to serve society.   • The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission [UGC] or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks [40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
  • The candidate should have passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.

  • The candidate should have Passed Bachelor Degree, with at least 50% marks [at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only]
  • The candidates must obtain non zero positive scores in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering [GATE] conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology or
  • Obtain non zero positive scores in the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test [GPAT] conducted by the All India Council of Technical Education
MMS
  • The candidate should be an Indian National
  • The candidate must have passed the minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent [ at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons With Disability belonging [to Maharashtra State only] or its equivalent]
  • Obtained non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. 
  • Any NRI / OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National as per DTE norms.
PhD
  • The candidate must have to clear the PET examination conducted by the University of Mumbai or should have five years of approved teaching experience 
  • The eligible candidates will be selected through interviews
  • The selected candidates will have to complete coursework at the research center within six months as per the requirements of the University of Mumbai

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology Admissions:

All admissions are done in the guidelines of the University of Mumbai/state government. For VIT Mumbai Admissions Students can apply online on the college website or by visiting the campus. PET scores will be given more importance in Ph.D. Admissions. Candidates will have to submit all the required documents along with application fees. The admissions are based on past academic merit scores and qualifying examinations. The candidates will be selected based on VIT Cut Off.
