Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University was established in 1999. It has more than 20 years of outstanding experience as a leading in the education sector of India. It is a public university, named after Bharat Ratna Rajarshi Purushottam Das Tandon. Since then, it has been working to providing educational opportunities, development of skills, and talents of the students from Uttar Pradesh.

• B. A fee structure is INR 3700 per annum, B.Sc fee structure is INR 8200 per annum and B.Com fees are 4200 Per annum.
• The fee structure of MA and M.Com is INR 7200 per annum, M.Sc fees are INR 9200 per annum and Master of Journalism fee is INR 6200
• The diploma in Applied Statistics and Computer fee is INR 4700 and for Diploma in Web Technology is INR 8200
• INR 15,200 is the fee to be paid for PG Diploma in Computer Application
• Awareness Programmes in Yoga, fees structure is INR 1400

Rajarshi Tandon open university Allahabad offers various courses under certain disciplines. The University admission can be done online on the official website, the candidate's admission is done on certain eligibility criteria. He/ she must attend the college entrance exam, the selected candidates will be called for a personal interview, on the basis of overall performance, the candidate will be taken for admission. The application for admissions can be obtained at Admission or Regional Offices.

Apply through Online mode:

• Candidates applying online through the University website will be routed to self-application.
• On successful submission of the application, the system will generate a unique ID & Password (Numeric).
• Candidates should get the printout after generating online E-Chalan.
• After the generation of challan, the candidates should submit the program fee within 24 hours in any branches of Allahabad Bank, Vijaya Bank, or Punjab National Bank.
• Candidates should perform all activities mentioned in the admission information details.
• The University releases the admission notification and interested candidates apply for the courses through the website and the campus for admission 2018.
• The selection is based on the merit list prepared on the basis of the eligibility criteria and in some cases it is based on the interview.
