Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University was established at Nanded by bifurcating the Marathwada University, Aurangabad on 17th September 1994. This leading University has redesigned its syllabi and courses to generate the human resource for regional development in India. Currently, College offers several Science courses like Chemical Sciences, Laboratory Sciences, Informational Sciences, Educational Sciences. The courses are characterized by innovative ways of teaching, learning and evaluation.
With the vision to enlighten students, it contributes to value-based learning and knowledge generation. The mission of this institute is to promote the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge through the fearless and sustained pursuit of excellence aimed at molding personalities of students entering its portals to grow with an upright character filled with enlightenment and to be the value adhering members of a just and humane society.

- Candidates must have passed their UG final exam with B.Sc. from a recognized University to be eligible for this course.
Eligibility Criteria of MCA
- Any Science Graduate may be eligible for computational courses. Priority will be given to students with mathematics at +2 level
Eligibility Criteria of M.Ed
- Candidates must have completed their B.Ed to be eligible for this course.

- Candidates must have completed their graduation from any stream to be eligible for this course.

SRTMUN University Hostel Details
Facilities are well-equipped for students who are staying away from home. The university can accommodate a large number of students from all departments who are coming from all around the state and elsewhere. The following are the hostel facilities provided by the university.
- There are separate hostels for boys as well as girls.
- The rooms are spacious and maintained in a hygienic manner.
- Medical centres within the hostel assist students in case of medical emergencies.

SRTMUN Placements
There is a placement block at the sub-centre to regulate the project work and placement exercises of the students under a supervisor. It is supported by other senior faculties of the schools. Industrial houses, Firms, NGOs, Academic/Research institutions and other private recognized organizations are invited to communicate with the students for selection, training and recruitment. Students are supervised to prepare their profiles for such activity. Counselling and evaluation of students are scientifically conducted on a continuous basis by experts in associated fields. The assessment records are maintained to keep track of the progress made by the students. The placement officer of the university also helps the Institute to provide appropriate inputs to cause quality and betterment.

SRTMUN Scholarship
All admissions are made as per merit and reservation rules and Fees for every course is collected as per the notification from the university with Freeship, scholarship and stipend benefits to eligible students as per Govt. Of Maharashtra and Govt. of India’s provisions. Economically poor students are enrolled under the Earn & Learn scheme to partially support their financial requirements.
Student Welfare Assistance Scheme (SWAS): SWAS (Student Welfare Assistance Scheme) was launched in 2015 in SRTMU to assist target students with tuition fees, living expenses, and necessary stationery. So far, over 500 students have reaped the benefits of this scheme, amounting to over 14,00,000 rupees. This sum was raised through voluntary contributions from university staff and the general public

SRTMUN Distance Education
The SRTMUN has already taken many initiatives to open the Distance Education (External Mode) for the educationally deprived people, the unreached students in the region and for those working in the various sectors.SRTMUN Distance Education Courses are beneficial for distance learners from various age groups, a different section of the society who are unable to pursue education which includes the female class of the society who has remained deprived because of domestic responsibilities & social restrictions.
