St Paul's Cathedral Mission College, Kolkata was established in 1865. This is one of the oldest colleges in the city and is located in the academic hub of the city. St Paul's Cathedral Mission College Physics:

The department of Physics Hons course mostly focuses on Mathematical Physics, Classical and Quantum Mechanics, Electronics, Electro-Magnetism. Physics (Hons) involve and base mathematical applications that are the advantage of the course. The course is consists of eight papers. Students with good mathematical knowledge can opt for this course. Students are also taught computer programing along with mathematics analysis during their course period.

The dept of Mathematics is equipped with highly qualified teachers and follows modernized classroom teaching techniques. The dept of English has completed its 100th anniversary in 2015 and is one of the oldest depts to start the Hons course. The dedicated and experienced faculty of the dept primarily focuses on literature, mostly in the genres of novel, drama, essays, criticism, poetry and short essays, etc. The syllabus of Bengali covers the history of Modern Indian Language with that of Bengali. St Paul's Cathedral Mission College Admission:

Only the regular candidates can apply for this college. Applicants can apply online and the application fee is Rs. 250 per submission. The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. The application should be submitted before the last date. Applicants of Christian Category should submit the Baptism certificate along with a Letter of Recommendation.

Selected candidates will be listed on the merit list and those candidates are required to visit the college with the valid relevant documents at the time of admission. Admission of the candidates will be canceled if found any wrong information. Combination subjects will be offered on the basis of the availability of the seats.

On the day of verification of documents, the candidates must be present with his/her guardian. Candidates must bring along with them original mark-sheet of the qualifying examination, two copies of stamp size photographs and a copy of the application form. A candidate taking admission in SC/ST category must bring original documents. A candidate who has opted for the sports category must bring the original certificate of district-level participation in the same.
