Srinivas College of Physiotherapy was founded in the year 1993 functioning with the aegis of Sri. CA. A Raghavendra Rao, Chancellor, Srinivas University and President, A. Shama Rao Foundation, Mangaluru. From the year 2017, the college has become a constituent of Srinivas University. Transforming Society through Education by setting up academic institutions in dynamic equilibrium with its social, ecological and economic environment striving continuously for excellence in education, research and technological service to the nation. To provide knowledge-based technological education to the students and train them as competent professional manpower with ethical values to fulfil the needs of the society and industry by implementing State-of-the-Art education including technological innovation.

The candidate must have passed PUC/12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 45 % marks from a recognised board.

All the students who have perceived their education in our college are suitably placed in Hospitals, Nursing homes, Corporate sectors, Educational Institutions and set up their own clinics in various parts of India and abroad. For the abroad placement of our students, SCPTRC has tie-up with KARE Partners, Inc. (2009) a USA based recruitment company to recruit Physiotherapists from India to the USA and a leading health care provider in Gastonia, North Carolina, USA. SCPTRC is the first college to provide General Education Credit Course (2009) to meet the US equivalent educational credits in physiotherapy. SCPTRC also offers DSST examinations (2010) provided by Prometric, USA.
