SN Medical College Agra (SNMC) was established by the British in the year 1854 and was then named Thomas Hospital. It is one of the oldest and most well-run medical institutions in the country which was named after Smt. Sarojini Naidu, the first lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh. It is located in the heart of Agra city. The college is affiliated with Dr. B.R Ambedkar University, Agra and is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

The institute provides top-class education to students with the help of holistically designed programs and a faculty capacity of 120 in college. All the required infrastructural facilities like a library, hostel, digital classrooms to Wi-Fi are provided at this college. Students aspiring to enroll at SNMC, must secure a relevant rank at the NEET UG or NEET PG examinations and meet the eligibility criteria for the interested course.

SN Medical College Agra Admission

To enroll for any of the UG and PG courses in SNMC, the candidate must have relevant ranks in the NEET UG and NEET PG examinations. The admission will be based on the merits of the students and interview rounds.

• On average 123 students enroll for the MBBS degree at SNMC every year.
•  For MBBS, a valid NEET UG rank and for MS, MD and other PG degrees, the candidate must have a valid score in the NEET PG exam.
• The candidate must undergo a counseling process that is conducted by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS).
• Admission at SNMC will also depend on the availability of the seat, the difficulty level of the examination, and reservations as governed by the Central Government of India.

SN Medical College Agra Eligibility Criteria

Below listed are the courses and their specific eligibility criteria that are necessary at the time of admission to SNMC. Students falling under the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories will have a 10% waiver on the outstanding score secured.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must secure an average score of 50% in the 10+2 examinations.
• NEET UG rank must be valid and meet the cutoff requirements to enroll for MBBS.
• Selection will be based on merit.
• There will be a counseling round that the candidate must undergo.

MD/MS Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have an MBBS degree that is certified.
• The rank secured at the NEET PG is considered during the selection process.
• At least one internship program must be completed.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must attain the age of 17 years. The upper limit is 25 years.
• Marks secured in the 10+2 examination must be at least 50%.
• Selection is based on the ranks secured in the NEET UG examination.

• The cutoff list is updated in three rounds which includes merit-based selections in the first and second rounds followed by a mop-up round.

• The opening and closing rank according to the previous trend is expected to range between 5200 and 7900.
• Cutoff score for NEET UG in 2021, was 730 to 138 for general and 137 to 108 for SC, ST, and OBC.
