At Sita Ram Arya Memorial College of Education, the management constantly endeavours to impart quality professional education & practical training to the pupil teachers so that they become confident by getting a platform where they become dynamic learners & bring about change with their teaching skills. It leads to the development of a great attitude as a teacher, teaching skills & abilities, which matches with the challenges & job requirements of today's competitive world. At present B.Ed is a two-year program, but till 2014 it was a one year course.

During the B.Ed course, subjects to study are education, educational psychology, educational philosophies, pedagogy and the subjects the students have studied during graduation are to be chosen as teaching method papers. There are two papers for teaching methods, the rest of the papers are the same & compulsory for all. They have to do microteaching at college and mega teaching at schools during the course. Pupil teachers are sent for practice teaching in schools. During the course, the students are taught pedagogy to teach a subject rather than knowledge of the subjects. Studied during graduation, a B.Ed course helps a person to learn teaching skills. Teaching is an attractive profession for those who have a passion to teach and want to contribute to the upliftment of society B.Ed. It is a professional undergraduate course, designed to teach at the school level. Best things learnt during B.Ed. course are child psychology, lesson planning and teaching practice.
