Shri Ramdeobaba College of engineering and management [RCOEM], Nagpur was established in 1984 by Shri Ramdeobaba  Sarvajanik Samiti [SRSS]. RCOEM is affiliated to Nagpur University and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). University Grands Commission(UGC) and Nagpur University approved the autonomous status to RCOEM. Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD) selected Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management as an authorized partner institute for the initiative "Study In India" to attract foreign students.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management admission is done strictly based on merit and in a transparent manner. Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru college [RCOEM] is also known for its placement, the average placement of [RCOEM] from the last 10 years is more than 80%.

SRKNEC Facilities:

RCOEM provides facilities like a library, auditorium, sports center, gymnasium, general store, ATM, canteen, printing and photocopying centers, hostel, and parking area.

The central library of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management has a rich collection of various documents, handbooks, encyclopedia, journals, international edition, and many more preferable materials. The library has a large collection of audiovisual documents. The library has a digital library facility, where users are provided with 20 computers for referring to the various e-source materials.

The campus has a general store and an ATM. The sports department offers games like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis and indoor games like table tennis, chess, and caroms. Inter batch and intercollegiate matches for sports and athletics are held frequently on the campus. A well-equipped gymnasium for fitness and bodybuilding is available for the student on the college campus.

Air condition auditorium, well-equipped and modern laboratories, a canteen that serves healthy and hygienic food are available for students at RCOEM. The college provides hostel facility for both boys and girls.

SRKNEC Scholarships:

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management provides scholarships for the deserved students.

Eligibility criteria for scholarship holders:

• Candidate should be a regular student with a minimum CGPA 8.
• Candidates family's whole income should not exceed INR 3 LPA.
• The income certificate should be certified by any revenue in government authority.
• Candidates should not have a shortage of attendance or detain in any of the semesters.
• Candidates should not fail in any of the semesters or if they have a history of clearing semester in any make-up exams won't be eligible for scholarships.
• The applicant should not be penalized by the Institute for any act of indiscipline.
• The candidate should not have any other mode of scholarship or financial aid under government.

Eligibility  criteria for minority student: 

• Candidates must be under the domicile of Maharashtra.
• Candidates must be qualified with a minimum of 50 % marks.

SRKNEC Hostel:

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering offers hostel facilities to its students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There is 2 boys hostel with single and double rooms with a capacity of 433 male students. the girls' hostel has room options of double shared, three shared, four shared, and five shared rooms with a total capacity of 145 female students. 140 male students and 36 female students of the first year can be accommodated. Each Hostel is provided with a Hostel Warden for the smooth functioning.
