Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, SLBSRSV was established in 1962. SLBSRSV offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate and MPhil degrees. SLBSRV admission 2022 is open for UG and PG courses. Admissions to UG courses will be made through CUET UG. The admission to PG courses will be made based on the CUET PG score. Some other courses offered by SLBSRSV are B.Ed, M.Ed, diploma and certification courses. The admissions to these courses are made based on the All India Combined Entrance Test.

SLBSRSV offers courses in the field of humanities, yoga, shastra vidya, Vaastu shastra, and Jyotish vidya. SLBSRSV aims at conserving the Shastric traditions. SLBSRSV was conferred with UGC recognition and deemed status in 1987 and has been granted the NAAC 'A' accreditation.

SLBSRSV Admission

SLBSRSV offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, certificate and diploma courses in Veda, dharmashastra, yoga, jyotisha and other allied subjects in Sanskrit. These include The admission to  UG courses is being made based on CUET scores. Admission to other courses is made based on the All India Entrance Test. 

SLBSRSV Eligibility Criteria

In addition to the accepted exam scores, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to SLBSRSV.

Shastri BA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed the intermediate examination with Sanskrit / Uttar Madhyama / Prak Shastri Exam conducted by the State Board / recognized institutions.
• Passing of the Entrance Test conducted by the University.

Shiksha Shastri BEd Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate must have at least 50% marks or equivalent grade either in Shastri / B.A. with Sanskrit and/or Acharya / M.A. (Sanskrit)
• A valid score in the  All India Combined Entrance Test followed by an Interview.

Acharya MA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a degree in  Shastri / B.A. with Sanskrit or equivalent examination from a recognized University.
• A valid score in Entrance Test conducted by the University.
