RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering, Pune was established in the year 2011 by the Sinhgad Institutes. The RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education [AICTE] and Directorate of Technical Education [DTE]. The college is affiliated to the University of Pune. The college is accredited National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NACC] with an "A" grade.

The college intake capacity is 660 students for undergraduate and 84 students for postgraduate courses. The college has various departments like Computer, Mechanical,  Electronics and telecommunication, IT, and civil. RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering Facilities includes a workshop hall, library, computer engineering labs, drawing halls, basic electrical lab, basic civil lab, and spacious classrooms.
