College Infrastructure:
  • Infrastructure is one area where this college truly lacks behind. The Naraina, New Delhi campus is situated in an industrial area with the college buildings scattered all over the place. Their is no real campus, just different buildings in a not so great area. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries is good though and the campus is Wi-fi enabled.
Placements & Internships:
  • I have done three internships.
  • Companies like Design houses, Big Brands, Marketing, Consultancies comes for the placements.
  • We have our official alumni network on Alma Connect for strengthening alumni relations and leveraging the network for increasing placements & branding.
Fees and Scholarship:
  • The course fee is approximately Rs 5.5 lakhs per year.
  • The scholarship options available at the foundation level are only for one student per course, which is 50% deduction from your next year's fee.
Academics & Faculty:
  • Academics at Pearl Academy is very fine. A good amount of classes are scheduled combined with a few hours of self work making it very hectic yet productive.
  • The methodology of teaching is advanced and practical based. A good variety of courses are available to choose from with various specialisation in each. Faculty is excellent, very friendly and available outside class too.

College Infrastructure:
  • There are four/ five hostels for PEARL DELHI.
  • The food in college is alright. There are a variety of options available and are quite hygienic, but I think they can update their menu now. A meal could cost you anything from Rs. 30 - Rs. 100.
  • The infrastucture of the college is marvellous. Extremely well furnished classrooms, with great cooling and perfect lighting. There is a sytem of punching your ID cards called RFID, to mark your attendance, which is only done till ten minutes after the starting time of the class. The wi-fi works perfectly and can be accessed from any corner of the building. The dinning halls are clean but not very big. The library and resource centre are one and are well stocked.

Academics & Faculty:
  • The daily routine is not very hectic and is certainly enjoyable. We usually have two classes every day which are for three hours with small breaks in between. The assignments are challenging and call for application of novel ideas. Sometimes the assigned task could be hard to comprehend, for which there are guidelines that are present in the module guide. Also the faculty, is always available to solve our doubts.
  • The quality and method of teaching is pristine. The faculty pays attention to each and every student. The faculty members are punctual and dedicated to their work. There are no text books or examinations. A module guide is mailed to each student at the beginning of the module. The faculty teaches whatever is written there. Teaching takes place through presentations, activities, material exploration and the computer in CAD.
  • The overall experience in college is excellent. When college gets over, you feel you have really learnt something new, you know you are in a great place. Only having a campus is something I miss.

College Infrastructure:
  • 3 hostels are there. Rs 2 lakh a semester is hostel fee. But people do live in hostel because their parents wont allow .
  • People prefer pg and flat.
  •  Quality of classroom is good .
Fees and Scholarship:
  • Course fee for a year is Rs 5 lakh. Course fee is more than they need.
  • Scholarships can't be relied on. And i dont think they give any scholarships.
  • Loans must be needed.
Academics & Faculty:
  • Daily routine is little hectic .
  • Though method of teaching is good.
  • Overall Experience is fine.

Societies & Associations:
  • There is a student council that heads extra curricular activities in the college

  • The two main events of our college are the college cultural fest, called Utsav, and the graduation event at the end of every year, where the work of the seniors are showcased, Portfolio
  • College life is pretty eventful in general
  • One has a lot of recreational opportunites between and after classes which is a good break from the studies
College Infrastructure:
  • Hostel accomadation is provided for girls and not for boys
  • But the college is surrounded by ample number of PG's which is very convenient for the students
  • The infrastructure quality of the college is good, though it is situated in an industrial area
Academics & Faculty:
  • The class time tables are well laid out across all the four years of academics
  • College gives us a chance to involve in various activities
  • It encourages a decision of specialisation based on a holistic experience
  • The assignments are given from skill-based to concept-based as we enter our senior year
  • The quality of teaching is good, as the teachers provide us with more than enough information and encourage our thoughts, opinions into discussions
  • We are taught in a fairly good environment, where one feels free to express themselves
  • The overall experience in college is immensely satisfying, academically

Hostels & Food: On campus there is no availability of any sort of housing options. Off campus, there is presence of a lot of PGs close by for the outstation students. A canteen is present in each building of the college with decent quality food. Off campus there are no such major food options as the college is located in an industrial area.
College Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one area where this college truly lacks behind. The Naraina, New Delhi campus is situated in an industrial area with the college buildings scattered all over the place. Their is no real campus, just different buildings in a not so great area. The quality of classrooms, labs, libraries is good though and the campus is Wi-fi enabled.
Placements & Internships: As far as the post graduation diploma courses are concerned, internships are a mandatory part of the course curriculum post the second semester and they are provided by the college itself based on merit. Placement Cell is also active and good companies come to hire students on campus from almost all courses.
International Exposure: International exposure is excellent at Pearl. It is affiliated with top fashion universities across the globe. Students from all courses get different opportunities for foreign exchange programmes. Particularly with my course (Post Graduation in Fashion Business), I have the opportunity to go for an exchange programme to Domus Academy, Milan in the third semester.
Academics & Faculty: Academics at the Pearl Academy is very fine. A good amount of classes are scheduled combined with a few hours of self work making it very hectic yet productive. The methodology of teaching is advanced and very practical based. A good variety of courses are available to choose from with various specialisation in each. Academics & Faculty: Pearl academy is one of the best design college in India. The famous fashion designer Mandira virk is a graduate from this academy so one can be sure about the opportunities waiting for them. The exposure one gets is very good. Students are sent for exchange programes, internships under the designers, back staging for wiwf and many more. The infrastructure is also good. The international exposure provided by this college is great as they send there students to Milan for gaining more knowledge under there respected fields as they are acquainted to the same courses they are perusing and are made to learn more about them in a school
