  • The food is average.

  • There are a number of assignments which happen bi-weekly and teaching can vary from great to average in Manipal Institute of Technology.

  • Education at Manipal Institute of Technology is expensive.
  • Loan facilities are available.
  • Very few scholarships are available.
Placements & Internships:
  • Firms such as Goldman sacks, cisco, Microsoft, Tata consultancy services, R& D, Samsung come to Manipal Institute of Technology for recruitment.

  • Students celebrate all the festivals on campus like Diwali and Holi.
  • Life at this college is awesome.

  • In Manipal Institute of Technology, hostels are clean and well equipped with furniture.
  • All the classrooms have AC and well furnished. some lecture halls have wood floorings, campus has wifi facility.

  • There are Two main festivals celebrated. Holi is one of the best happenings in the institute.
  • In general best College one can have to get grateful here

  • There are Sufficient hostels are there inside campus itself.
  • There is a big food court available. Hostel fees vary from 70 k to 1 lakh depending upon required facilities. Hostel fees include food fees also.
Academics & Faculty:
  • The Assignment quality is very good helps us to solve real time problems class timing varies fro8 am to 7pm. Per day four hours class will be there. Remaining time need to spend in labs
Fees and Scholarship:
  • The course fee is per year 1.68 lakhs.
  • There are Many scholarship options are available. Like the GATE Stipend. And teaching assistant.
Placements & Internships:
  • Yes, I go a stipend, And the best internship in the industry for one year.
  • The average Salaries ranges from 20k to 30k.
Admissions:
  • The Eligibility comes as 60% of education degree bellow the mastering.
  • There will be an entrance exam which is compulsory to get a seat here. Have taken GATE exam before taking Manipal entrance exam. So the GATE score will be considered for seat allotment.
  • For best M.Tech seat, 100 and bellow 100 rank is cutoff

Societies & Associations:
  • There are more than 100 non technical clubs . And a few association which organise events pretty frequently .
  • The main tech fest is tectatva which is very good then there are cultural fests like revels and utsav (university plans for utsav) for all life at college very good with a very diverse crowd .
College Infrastructure:
  • There are about 25 hostels with very comfortable rooms , the cost for a year is about 1lakh (non ac) and about 1.3 lakh (for ac) including food .
  • The classrooms and libraries are very good but labrary doesnt have sufficient copies of the books . The wifi is a big disappointment , not good at all . But every other thing is very good .
Academics & Faculty:
  • The schedule is very well sorted . The timings are pretty well managed .
  • The teaching methodolgy is some what disappointing . But the overall exposure at the campus compensates for it .
Fees and Scholarship:
  • Fees is comparitively higher . Course fee for automobile is 12.85 lakhs
  • .You can get a good amount of scholarship if your rank is below 1000 in the test . SBI (state bank of india ) offers loans very easily to the students .
Placements & Internships:
  • There are many oppurtunities for interships , you can apply to a number companies for internships .
  • IT companies like flipkart ,wipro and highly reputed companies like mercedes , maruti suzuki hire from the campus . The packages vary from 18 lakh inr to 4 lakhs . Average pakages lie in the range of 5-6 lakhs inr

  • The eligibility criteria is 10+2 from any recognised board in india .
  • The entrance is based on the online exam (MUOET) conducted by manipal university . The typical cut off for automobile is around 100/200 .

  • There are 63 students clubs in MIT which includes the clubs for photography, skit, dance groups etc.
  • The college hosts Tech tattva, Diwali, and Holi every year.
  • It has just been an awesome experience to be in this MIT college.
College Infrastructure:
  • Currently, there are 21 hostels and the rent is nearly 3000 per month which is affordable.
  • The Food is really nice in the MIT campus and offers a good variety at times. There is no issues with the food, in general.
  • Smart classes, well-developed labs with requirements, good and sufficiently big library.There are good dining halls for all student, Wi-Fi is of the best quality. The Infrastructure is really well-built
Academics & Faculty:
  • Class timings are students friendly, it is not so hectic schedule as most people think. It provides such an environment by which students are always on their toes. The project professors often help us in our projects. They teach us in a more engineering-point of view.
Fees and Scholarship:
  • The Fees for MIT is around Rs. 1,44,000 per year.The Students can get two forms of Scholarships:
    • The Karnataka passes scholarship for academic excellence.
    • A Teaching Assistantship scholarship which is to assist the teachers during Freetime.
  • The scholarships in MIT is given to 5 students per class.
  • The students can take loans from SBI through the MIT college.
Placements & Internships:
  • Only in the Next semester of my MIT course, I will go for an internship. So as of now, I am not doing any internship with stipends.
Admissions:
  • The Admission went like this:
    • I gave an entrance exam for this course in MIT.
    • Based on that they gave ranks and selected the candidates through counseling.

  • The eligibility criteria for joining Manipal Institute of Technology is clearing the MU OET exam.
  • The cut-off for the course varies every year depending on the course and marks scored in the exam.
  • The students have to get a rank of 8000 to 10000 in MU OET exam to get admission in college.

  • A large number of reputed companies come to Manipal for placements. Toyota, Hero Motocorp, Maruti Suzuki and Mercedes-Benz have all come for placements.
  • The alumni network is very strong, with Satya Nadella and Rajiv Suri being the most notable alumni.
Admissions:
  • The eligibility criteria are to score 75% in 12th Board Exams to get admission in Manipal Institute of Technology.
  • One has to apply for the MU-OET entrance test, which is an online test. The test is graded out of 200 marks and a score of around 120 is enough to secure an admission to mechanical engineering.

  • There are a lot of student societies, clubs, and associations on campus both technical and nontechincal.
  • We have two fest one is TechTatva and the another one is Revels that the cultural fest.
College Infrastructure:
  • College infrastructure is too good compared to other colleges plus the hostels provide facilities that would make the stay way too comfortable.
  • The classroom is well designed and students can opt for staying outside too.
Academics & Faculty:
  • The quality of teaching is too good.
  • Overall I would say the experience is great.
Fees and Scholarship:
  • Course fee is around Rs.11 lakhs per annum
  • The scholarship is available for students based on the entrance exam rank.
Placements & Internships:
  • Placement is pretty good as key companies come to the campus for both internships and placements.
  • Companies like Microsoft,Oracle,Directi etc are among the highest paying.
Admissions:
  • The eligibility criteria are 12th
  • The typical cutoff varies from year to year but the most sought after branches are CSE and Mechanical
