About National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi:

National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL) was established by Act No. 4 of Jharkhand State Assembly in 2010. The University has subsequently been recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) in September 2011 u/s 22 of the UGC Act of 1956. The University started functioning in September 2010. At present, the University has more than 500 students on roll in the undergraduate course. The University has been included as a member of the CLAT with effect from CLAT 2012. At the undergraduate level, University offers Five-year Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree Program which consists of ten semesters. The University also started its Research Program in January 2012.

Eligibility for UG Course at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi:

• 12th pass from a recognised Institution under a recognised Board of Education.
• Eligibility will be based on CLAT test score

Eligibility for PG Courses at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi:

• Candidate must have passed Graduation or equivalent in law.

Admission Procedure for UG course at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi:

• The candidates have to deposit the fee.
• The payment of semester see to the University shall be treated as their confirmation regarding Admission.
• Completion of admission formalities at University level by submitting required certificates/documents/receipt of CLAT and the balance amount of fees by the candidates.

Admission Procedure for PG courses at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi:

• Candidates are required to submit the copy of a receipt of counselling Fee paid at CLAT office, RGNUL, Patiala.
• The Payment of Semester Fee to the University shall be treated as their confirmation regarding Admission.
• Completion of admission formalities at University level by submitting required certificates/documents/receipt of CLAT and the balance amount of fees by the candidates.
