ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The Class timings are never fixed for every academic year. Assignments are compulsory but only related to the syllabus Quality is nice.
  • The method is teaching differs from teacher to teacher and also from topic to topic.
  • There is a Great atmosphere. Good crowd. Helpful teachers. Amazing infrastructure.
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS:
  • There are a number of clubs, thereMany student responsibilities. Many programs. Lots of opportunities. Talent Search.
  • Participates in every festival of every college, they Others participate in K shit IJ and our college students are a part of the committee and never participants.
  • College life is great. Attendance is a bit strict, the People are nice.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY:
  • The college usually starts at 7 in morning and ends by 10:36 am.
  • The quality of teaching is amazing and we get exposure to several opportunities. Lecturers always try to find creative ways to make their lectures more interesting so that the children pay attention to what is being taught.
  • The overall experience in thus college till now is a journey full of memories and loads of knowledge and experiences.

  • I have lots of memories with college. I enjoyed going to college inspite of being so strict with rules and regulations.
  • Teachers are very helpful. College gives a professional environment for students which sets them for future. Management is very active. There are some uncertainties to everything but it's fine.
  • This college gives a really good experience.

  • The daily routine of the college is very comfortable. Classes start on time and are regularly.
  • The information about projects, assignments and exams are given in advance and in detail.
  • The quality and method of teaching good and overall the college is very systematic. The only hitch is the attendance. There is a strict 75% attendance rule which is problematic.

  • The classes start from 7 A.M and ends by 11:30 A.M.
  • There are presentations to be done. Unit tests are conducted in mid August and semesters in September.
  • The teaching in this college is good. All teachers are very cooperative. They treat the students like their own children. They are always ready to clear doubts.
  • My overall experience is great.

ACADEMICS & FACULTY: Academics at Mithibai BMS has no comparision with any other institutes, and that's only because of our faculty. They are very bold and strict.. But at the end you'll figure it out how helpful they were though out the years Permanent faculties are Fully updated with the current information which is the core of the course, permanent faculties include - Ms. Shalini, Ms. Tahreem Bardy, Mr. Hari Kurup, etc... Many get updated so please find out the current one for your reference. This is the 2014 faculty.
FOREIGN EXCHANGE & INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE: Not much promoted... Hence, you will have to find it externally. As Mithibai comes under SVKM. Yes, SVKM as a good reputation abroad
CLUBS & ASSOCIATIONS: Not much great Not much great? As bring into management we did not have time to participate. But yes, facilities are there
SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE: Various students from all over India. Very High.

About Mithibai College of Arts, Mumbai

Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science & Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics is envisaged as a destination for the most talented and promising students, since its inception in 1961. The college has 31 departments of which 15 are postgraduate departments with 7 of them conducting Ph.D. programmes. It has always encouraged an admission policy that favours meritorious students irrespective of their economic backgrounds. The library of Mithibai College (Jitendra Library) has a profound collection of books, encyclopaedia, journals, CDs and other resource material. It is centrally air-conditioned and supported with modern technology like Wi-Fi and digital video recording cameras. Library users can access Online Databases through Wi-Fi. Training and Placement :-

Training at Mithibai emphasis is placed on the all-round development of the students, thereby equipping them to face life after college. The soft skills training provided to the students assist them in identifying and achieving their own personal potential. To make the student corporate ready, the first year focuses on laying a foundation on the English Language Skills. The second year focuses on Self-management and People Skills which include programs on Personality Development, Presentation skills

  1. Government open merit scholarship (At least 85% mark in the S.S.C. Examination only as per Govt. notification)
  2. Government open merit (For SSC Arts, Commerce Science 85% marks in the immediately preceding examination as per Govt. notification)
  3. Talent Development scholarship (For S.Y.J.C student who have scored highest marks in mathematics and physics and will continue in the same college till B.Sc Degree as per Govt. notification)
