MATS University Placements cell handles all its placement activities. The placement cell activities include Marketing and Brank Development, Internship and Final placement, Vocational Training, Aptitude and Soft Skill training, MOU and Industrial Tie-ups, Industrial Visits, and Entrepreneurship activities.

The University has a Central Placement Cell [CPC] on campus. The aim of this Cell is to ensure that students get placed in top organizations across the country.

The MATS University, Raipur CPC is responsible for all placement-related activities such as counseling, seminars, workshops, etc. It acts as a liaison between placement companies and the students.

MATS University Placement Cell

Central Placement Cell was established with the motive to serve as a student-industry interface. MATS University cell has been constantly working in this direction since 14 years now. The CPC also plays the role of a career development centre for the students.

Grooming and preparing students to face the dynamic corporate and industrial work culture is the primary intent of the CPC. MATS University placement cell handles the entire placement process, which includes corporate interactions, Internships, pre-placement processes, campus drives, and the final placement processes.

Filling of the placement form

  • MATS Placement cell segregate the students and target to place the right candidate in the right profile.
  • CPC makes all the students fill out a placement form in which students give their details if they opt for placements.

Application and Short-listing

  • In response to job descriptions floated by the companies, interested students apply through the
    Placements Office, managed by the Placement Team.
  • A detailed resume is submitted by the students as part of the application process.
  • based on student applications, companies are required to send a list of short listed candidates to the CPC at least a week prior to their fina placement interviews.

Pre-Placement Talk

  • The Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) enables companies and students to interact with each other. The representatives from companies share key aspects of their firm, work environment, and growth opportunities.
  • A typical PPT session is scheduled for 30 to 60 minutes followed by a 15-minute long Q&A session. In this way the CPC ensures that the students have clarity about the company, work profile, JD, etc.

Placement Interviews

  • MATS University selection process completely depends on company to company basis. In case if a company cannot visit the campus for the recruitment process,
  • The MATS University placement cell makes suitable arrangements for an offline interview over the telephone or video call.

Offers and Acceptance

  • The company can make an offer to the student after the final interview. For an offer to be valid, it should include details of role, location, remuneration, and other relevant terms and conditions required by the candidate to make a decision.
  • The offer is communicated by the company to the CPC, which in turn communicates it to the selected student.
  • Once the student accepts the offer, the same is communicated to the company by the CPC
